After looking, looking & more looking I see I'm not going to get a door build & still use nothing but infinity brand componets without add a amp or 2... Because all infinity ref componets & speakers are 2ohm even doe sonic say they are 4ohm... Smmfh Guess I'm gone have to jock a little off zayres29 & use dayton audio 8ohm gear...

these are the speaker here(got the hook on): http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18913_Infinity-Reference-6030cs.html I already have infinity in my truck & want to stick with the same brand... These are a 2ohm componet set & I want to put them on my doors but with the way my doors are I want at less 1 set(2 6's/tweets/crossovers) per door. I want to make a door build worth it & not have to cut up a door / make it look odd with just one set. I was gone try the other speaker he had which is a 4ohm speaker: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18900_Infinity-Reference-4032cf.html run 4 on each door wired to 1ohm & try to run them off the other 2channels on the amp, Each channel is 2ohm. Plus this will be in a daily drive/work truck & I can't be adding extra amps... With the way thing are looking here, looks I'm just gone say fluck it & get 4 super tweets, two 8"s, or I-Beams

ok thanks Zayers... That hook up deal is useless :-( the 2ohm componets can't be done... There is no way to wire a set (2 6's/tweets/crossovers) on one door & the amp still see a 2 ohm load? Then the other idea is useless too because with ohm math if I have four 4ohm speakers wired in parallel (1ohm) & four more 4ohm speakers wired in parallel (1ohm) if I tie them together at the amp, it dose see a 2 ohm load it. The amp see .0 something. Oh well not adding more amps no place to put more gear & still get to use my truck... Future door build is dead.... :-(((((

Ok so I saw this info in a topic a few days ago about a 4ohm componet set but ain't get no help / answers when I asked if it worked with 2ohm componet sets... I just got a hook up on gear & I want to know before I order the componets for my build. Ok I want to put componets on my doors & need to know if this is rite way or get the rite to put one 2ohm componet set on one door: Connect the speakers to the crossover as normal...... Connect + input from left x-over to - input on right x-over.. Connect - input on x-over to - on amp.. Connect + input on x-over to + on amp. So would that ^^^^ work with a 2 ohm componet sets? Put the set(2 6's/tweets/crossover) on one door & the amp still see a 2 ohm load? Also stupid for asking could it work with 2 sets(4 6's/tweets/crossover) on one door & the amp still see a 2 ohm load?
