  1. I've gor two kicker L7 15" on an ap3000. For the price, that amp is amazing! The subs are sealed in about 2 cubes each. I am over powering them cuz they're getting 1500 watts but theres no distortion and the boxes are small. Gonna shrink them this weekend down to about 1.5-1.7 though anyway just to change it up. I did sealed just so i could get them installed easier. Soon gonna sell them though and get some much better subs. Like Fi BL's. Kenwood headunit running the door speakers. Was gonna put an amp on the speakers but didnt need to when i put that headunit in. The speakers are Infinity coax's 5x7 in the back, 5.25 in the front
  2. Come to OKC much? Not to often maybe like 1 or so a month to pick up a friend, but I drive through all the time being I drive anywhere in OK for my job like 60-400mi a day. So I have to have a good stereo that is a never ending project. What're you running?
  3. I'd like some help on this too. Not tryin to thread jack though. But i currently have 2 kicker L7 15's and one of mine does that too. And they're sealed
  4. I'm not clipping at all. I just wanna make sure I don't see the magic smoke since I've never worked with them. Fi and Aq are what I'm looking at. Idk about Fi, but for AQ I'm looking at the 3's
  5. I've been lookin at AQ's a lot. And they're relatively cheap. I was wondering how they'd handle the 1500 watts since they're rated at 1000
  6. Ok cool. I'll go look at FI. About how much are those though?
  7. Ya I'm wanting 15"s again. I still wanna be loud. I listen to almost all rap but when I listen to country or rock I still be able to sound good
  8. I've been lookin at audioque, sundown, dc, all of them. I'm open to any suggestions. I'm needing subs that can take 1500 rms at one ohm, no clipping thanks to DD-1 . And don't need a ridiculous amount of space. Right now i have two kicker L7 15" sealed in about 1.9-2 cubes. I want to go ported but didn't want to on these subs. Plus they're kickers.... ha. I like how hard the hit and clean they sound in the sealed, but i want some more boom while maintaining some SQ. So what do you guys think? I've learned a lot here but you guys know way more. Thanks, open to anything.
  9. 4ga=fire and pissed insurance. just go ahead and save a couple bucks if needed and buy some awg nice power wire. www.powerwerx.com has welding wire that would work amazing
  10. x2 That box looks tight though. I say build it and the worse that can happen is you waste a few days and some money in wood. I think it'll turn out good though
  11. Sweet dude. Really? I feel really dumb for not knowing that. I'v never been into DD but sill.. I just knew Kicker was up in Stillwater
  12. Not tryin to spam since this isn't much of a question. I just wanted to see who all in Oklahoma City was on here. I like meeting new people and hearing new systems.
  13. Definitely upgrade batteries. Check out http://www.stevemead...-wattage-guide/ and that should help explain. What size is your front battery? I would run 2 batteries. The biggest you can get under the hood and one D3100 in the back. Then later if you go for the 5K, add another D3100 with bus bars Its always better to extra batt. room. An Alt isn't need right now on 2k but wouldn't hurt. For fure for the 5k you will want a much bigger alt. I'd do at least 250 amp for 5k
