Ive been wondering the same thing. My friend has his car putting out 15.8 volts and I was worried about him frying his ecu.

See if you can possibly make something to mount the mids at a 45 degree angle to make them louder. Focus them up more towards the listeners. Will help alot. I could never get my mids/vocals to match anywhere near my bass, until I built a brand new baffle of mdf onto the door, 45 degreed them up and had 2 6.5"s in each front door. Just a few options to possbily try. Tips that deffintally got me louder.

Yes if you provide clipping power to it. As long as your sending a clean signal to it non clipped your fine!

Thanks. When I play songs with higer frequencies it really hurts. I deffintally have to get this box metered even though im tuned to 28hz.

Just Built a box for my 2 12" RD Sonances. Have my blown MTX 8100D amp powering them as a temp setup due to blowing my other amp. Only getting about 500 watts to each one. Heres a pic of the box. Box is tuned to 28hz. Heres a video of the what the box is doing to my car. I had it only on about a little bit over half on the volume because the headunit (pioneer 4900) starts to skip) At 7 seconds left you can see it skips if i turn it up the slighest bit. I also have 4 6.5" Daytons for vocals 2 in each front door and they sound clear and get very loud. Heres the video. Let me know what you think.

No I did and I still stand on my opinion and will have them from my experiences. Just from my brother being an electrician and taking technology classes, I understand the use of the fuse and why its relaible as it is, but my whole reasoning with the circuit breaker will stand.
