  1. Currently waiting for my 370 amp for my Super Duty.
  2. I'm ready. I've been hammering two V2s for 4-5 months and they are very stout. They hit clean from 50Hz down to 27Hz. Willing to bet V3s would make a significant difference.
  3. if the batts were in, don't you think i would have posted pics of them in? nope, no batts. I pushed the tercel out of the booth and in a parking spot. I am losing interest fast everything is taking so long. I think im gonna work on my Tahoe a bit. It needs a few minor things done to it. I feel ya on the motivation. If something takes too long I move on like a kid with ADD. Well can't wait for you to post anything Steve, Your refusal to do shit work keeps me going. I'm also loving all the De'Amore/SMD unique built for the installer products, Keep up the great work.
  4. What does everyone think about how to install it? I was thinking about building a lexan plate grooved out for the LED strips and mount it to the inside of the window.
  5. me either!but i gotta wait 30 days before DC gets them and even then i don't know what my cost will be. I am 90% sure i am using DC amps. My pocket book will determine what i ACTUALLY run. People think i gotta free ride and ummm that is just NOT true. I should by now (by some company) but it still has not happened. I get discounts and a few freebies here and there but definitely no free rides. Hell you've sold more RF then any ad they've paid for. I bet when you rebuilt the hoe their sales saw a peak.
  6. It's not the worst I've seen but it sure is a close second. I would like to think the "Shop" that installed this mess is sick over how bad it is but I think they prob think they did a 5K solid install. Everything in the car was done as bad as could be. The only way to make it worse would be shitty equipment. Moke needs to stomp some ass.
  7. There is not enough space there, even if I filled the whole back (wedge box) it would still not have enough room. BTW they where in there as 8 facing up sealed and this is twice as loud and hits notes the sealed config couldn't even think of. As far as isobaric goes I wasn't sold on it either even though I did a Mustang back in the 80s with 4 15s isoed in the hatch and we couldn't keep the hatch closed (it hit hard as well) so I ran them as 4 with a port and it just didn't do what it does now.
  8. I was working on cutting down some port noise (got back there and heard it, not much but enough) should I go with 3 15.5" ports? My calculations say it will help but real world knowledge would be better. Also does anyone know of a better way to make these guys louder? I am at the limit I think but doesn't hurt to ask.
  9. BBerry again, sorry but this weekend IF Florida thaws I will take better pics.
  10. It's actully a 2" port and with port length issues and enclosure volume probs it is what it is. I don't get very much port noise and it only fads on notes below 30hz.
  11. I am working on a system for my truck (slowly purchasing equipment) that will HAMMER daily. Looking to put 4 12s in a blowthrough bandpass and then work towards doors and dash. before that happens I need something so I grabbed a box I had with 8 6.5s JL Audio W0s sealed and started breaking shit. I removed all of the deviders and set the woofers up isobaric 4 on 4 and ported it out of the top (it is ugly but it actually hits pretty good). I am running a 800.1 MMATS on 'em and they are moving hard. I will post pics and vids as the real build gets going, but here is some of the little guy doing it's thang (quality sucks from a BBerry).
  12. That shit is sick Steve! Can't wait to see how she works with the beat. Should hold up though, I kick the shit out of my PC daily and it still works
  13. Buy the right tools before you even try. If you want to like doing it get the right stuff.
