  4. i know it seems as such and in some cases this is true, but like myself im sure the others as well as the "small ppl" have put in alot of work. I cant tell you how many hrs I have into my car to make it as such ( lol helps to have a forgiving wife also). I would hate to see this looked upon as a popularity contest. not dogging on you but your comments would dq you in my book as it comes off as spite. again im not tryin to start anything im just sayin bro. some things are best said behind closed doors, maybe an im to Jon would have been in order ? Very well said! win or lose its all for fun, we all put a great deal of time and money into our hobby... It's almost impossible to compare who has invested more time...
  5. Very true, and I'm confident second skin won't over look anyone their confident in that will positively represent them, I just hope I make the cut! It's fun regardless!
  6. I feel the same way with all these guys doing 150-160+... bro doin numbers like that is over rated especially if your tearing your car apart, worse case is if its a daily driver Yeah I never did a DB race, so I dont know my numbers. But I can say Im definitely no where near there with 4 15"s and I feel that sometimes Im tearing my car apart. I already broke the motor for the back hatch of my car. LMAO! I feel ya bro, already replaced the seal on my back glass once and my trunk seal 2x ...lol
  7. I feel the same way with all these guys doing 150-160+... bro doin numbers like that is over rated especially if your tearing your car apart, worse case is if its a daily driver I totally agree with you, granted it's still impressive... I'm totally comfortable keeping my Daily driver trunk car functionally and still doing mid 140's completely from the trunk unsealed off... Not to mention I love being Loud & Low! I'm hopeful that us smaller, loud but not crazy loud guys will still get some love since we work just as hard! Thanks all for the votes be on the look out for a new video this afternoon!
  8. I hope my trunk car wont be overlooked for the big guys... Give a complete DD/family trunk car doing 143+ some love! Appreciate the support! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCb9JyfPDrM

  10. research and see if your car has a ELD, I know some Honda's do, sometimes you can remove the ELD to help with the ECU not shutting down your altenator.
  11. If it was me I think I'd go with 4-6 sa-8's
  12. check out box pics here http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/99204-my-06-civic-system-build-updated-5-16-11/
  13. yea, prob not a good idea to give them a constant 1500 but i had mine on 1200 daily at 1ohm scoped with the gains set properly and it had no issues at all.
  14. Thanks I got input from Derrick and walt on it .. Metered it at 141.4db today that's on the 1200d so it should do awesome on the 2500d plus I've got to add my rear battery too
  15. My other box for the single sa-12 was tuned at 35hz but square port and I loved how it sounded... Why do you say peaky? Bc of the aero port?
  16. Ended up doing 3.5 after displacement with 3 4" aero's at 35hz
  17. No budget or weight just as long as it will fit on it's side in the spare tire well
  18. Trying to decide on what rear battery to go with for my 06 honda civic I have a optima group 34 yellowtop up front, planning on running a saz-2500d powering 2 sa-12's and a sax-100.4, stock alt and big three with 1/0 and 1/0 to the trunk. roughly around 3140rms. i'd eventually like to swap out my optima for xs power also. what rear battery should i go with? and what size will fit up front thats similar to a group 34 in size? system is mainly for daily use
