03TahoeXXX replied to 03TahoeXXX's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Ok. just didnt know if everything would last as long. Like if runing the alt on 16 volt system is to much stress on it compared to 14v or 12v daily. -
dc 5k at .5ohm on 16v
03TahoeXXX replied to 03TahoeXXX's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Hey another quick ? about this. is it safe to run the alt, amp, and batts at 16v for a daily system? or would it all be more reliable on a 14v or 12v system since its not for competion use at all. just daily ground pounder. just trying to consider all possibilaties before i drop the cash on new batterys. -

My build log is in the member ride/build section now and i have more pics. and yes the wood is 3/4 mdf with laminite on both sides and comes out to 7/8 almost. just painted it with black wood paint on outside and white on inside where glue was. the laminite was already white. mdf alone is bitch to paint. -

Well little to me since its only on 5k. compared to other guys running 10k to 20k on there setup. sry i havent started my build log or got any videos up yet. been extremely busy at work. eventually i will have 2 5k's on a 16v system. Or one 9k. plus custom door panels made and more electrical to be done so plenty to come. -

From the side shot like that it really dont look like it would have a big cargo area. Just from what i can see from this pic. Havent really noticed one in person. With cj tho im sure he can make it loud regardless. -

How much power do i NEED
03TahoeXXX replied to hendo614's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Sell the car and get something with more room to work. or go with sum lvl 3 18s on less power as your first set up. build your eletrical up and then upgrade equipment as much as electrical will allow. just not sure you will be able to have enough room for the required alts and batts to run that much power! -
