  1. 8 weeks now. . .broke in now and sounding GREAT. Gained .9 dB selaed on the dash vs. the old BTL in the same configuration, same enclosure, same amps, etc. Brian
  2. That is what I said on another forum. I would make sure there is not another problem. I personally have never seen a sub go straight instant white smoke without first smelling the coils get warm a few times. He never said if they have been hot enough to smell the glue before. . . I have repeatedly seen a sub go from perfectly fine to white smoke due to amp failures. BTW - The Crunch GP3000D-Pro is getting great reviews as a great come back for Crunch and a nice amp. . .
  3. Sorry, I put it in the for sale section instead of WTB accidentally. . .please move for me. Thanks!
  4. Did not know they were getting so hard to find. Need one more to complete my system. PM me if you have one or know where one is for sale. . . . Thanks! Brian
  5. Drywall screws are bad for mounting heavy subs. First sub I learned that with was my Blueprint 1803. #12 sheet metal screws work awesome, and don't over tighten them!!! That is what I have used for the past 6 years without a problem.
  6. What a sweet little Dayton Titanic 15 next to it (only 15 I have sitting around) Brian
  7. Man, pictures cannot capture the beauty. I was going nuts when I got this thing uncrated. This is a 15". The picture HAS NOT been resized in any way. The motor is just so big it makes the picture of the sub look flat. It is just crazy. . . Seriously. Anyone that thinks it looks funny will eat their words the first time they see one in person. Crazy. . .still can't believe it. . .
  8. I don't see how you sit in there with no hearing protection. I am doing 157.X at 35Hz, and my ears can't take it. My body barely does, but my ears don't. Man I know there are quite a few people reading this thread that just do not have any idea what it would be like to sit in your ride. . . My next project is going to have to be multiple alts under the hood. I know the single 250 amp is hurting my bass race score. Love the new BTL's, can't wait to see a set in person. Brian
  9. I asked Scott about adding a second magnet. He said it would be a VERY minimal gain above what he is already getting with the single mag. . .
  10. Seems like I am always busy. . . .Will be at the Mid-America Truck Show the rest of this week. PM your number again and I will give you a call when I get back next week. These are quite a bit louder than last time you heard it. . .Need to get together when we have more than 5 minutes so you can take some time to listen to them and hear how good they can sound! Brian
  11. Have to call AA and find a dealer in your area. . . Brian
  12. Yes, I built the arrays. Just over listening to them tonight. Paired up with a Carver TFM-55 (380 x 2 RMS) and a Mach5Audio IXL18.4 on 1000 watts. With the guy's front door open, you can hear those things a half a mile away. The vocals are extremely clear to say the least. . .
  13. Wish I would have seen this earlier. . I am pretty darn good with C++. Wrote all of the C++ programs for a friend's C class last semester This is very similar to what you need. . . // This program will ask the user for a number between 1 and 100. It will continue to ask // until the user provides correct input. It will then display the prime numbers up to the // number the user input. // problem number // course number // Name // email #include <iostream> using namespace std; int main () { bool prime_number=true; int user_input; // this loop will prompt the user for an integer between 1 and 100 do { // do while loop until the value entered is between 1 and 100 cout << "Please enter integer between 1 and 100:\n"; cin >> user_input; // get the users input if ((user_input < 1) || (user_input > 100)) //if input was invalid print error cout << "You entered an invalid number!\n\n"; } while ((user_input < 1) || (user_input > 100)); for (int i = 2; i <= user_input; i++) { for (int j = 2; j < i; j++) { if (i % j == 0 ) prime_number=false; } if (prime_number) cout <<"Prime Number: " << i << "\n"; prime_number=true; } return 0; // exit program } PM me for the next one and I will see if I have anything already written up I could send you. . . Brian
  14. Thanks man. Back seats are there, just folded down for the video. This is my daily driven family wagon! Brian
  15. About the same. . .but these peak at a lower frequency than any of the previous setups, so they sound louder playing music.
  16. Here is a short video of my new Mayhems. Crappy video - had camera in hand, so I shot a quick one in the driveway. Don't like to hammer on the system at the house. Man the roof flexes hard on the this song. http://s183.photobucket.com/albums/x24/bko...nt=MVI_1128.flv Brian
  17. sorry, they are sold. the last one was shipped last week. . . Brian
  18. I am 99% sure these 6 are sold. If you have money and seriously want some, PM me. . .
  19. OK, I am dropping to: $325 + shipping with paypal. $315 + shipping with money order. Heck of a deal for new in the box MT's.
  20. still have 6. Possible sale on at least two of them, but no money yet, so they are still for sale.
