  1. Good, my install is about to be underway so I'll have plenty of questions.
  2. That's great! I get board at work. Didn't know if we had any traffic on here during the day.
  3. Plus, it comes with a 5 year warranty....excluding abuse of course
  4. I plan to install a 15" Dayton Titanic MKIII in a 6.00 ft^3 tuned @ 33hz, 2 amps, a HU, and an indash dvd player.
  5. I really don't see much of a difference outside of ohm load
  6. Thanks for clearing that up. That helps a lot.
  7. The MKIII has a Vas of 7.79 ft^3 but the SSD has a Vas of 141.3. Is that cubic feet or what? Trying to run a comparison on subwoofertools.com
  8. Ok, I just didn't want to wait
  9. Yeah, but there is no way I will have it for my install next week.
  10. Here are the T/S Parameters for the MKIII *Power handling: 800 watts RMS/1,100 watts max *VCdia: 2-1/2" *Le: 3.84 mH *Impedance: 4 ohms *Re: 3.68 ohms *Frequency range: 19-500 Hz *Magnet weight: 136oz. *Fs: 19.93 Hz *SPL: 91.7 dB 2.83V/1m *Vas: 7.79 cu. ft. *Qms: 5.89 *Qes: .41 *Qts: .38 *Xmax: 20.5 mm *Dimensions: Overall Diameter: 15-9/16", Cutout Diameter: 14-1/16", Mounting Depth: 8-3/8". Here are the ones for the SSD DUAL 1 | DUAL 2 Fs: 25.9 Hz | 25.3 Hz Re: 0.75 Ohms/coil | 1.5 Ohms/coil Qms: 4.78 | 4.89 Qes: .65 | ..58 Qts: .57 | .52 Mms: 246g | 258g Cms: 0.15mm/N | 0.15mm/N Sd: 810cm^2 | 810cm^2 Vas: 141.3 l | 141.3 l Spl: 87.6dB 1W/1m | 87.8dB 1W/1m Bl: 9.3 N/A | 00.0 N/A Xmax: 21mm Rms: 800W Sealed box: N/A cuft Ported box: 3-4 cuft @ 33Hz Sub OD: 15.625” Cut ID: 14.125” Mounting depth: 8.000” Displacement: 0.17cuft The only thing that sticks out to me is the MKIII is 4 ohm. I have used the 10" MKIII and it got low in a small sealed box. I just don't know how it will do ported. I'm at work so I don't have time to crunch all the numbers. I'd like to have the sub ordered so I can have it for my install next week. Any suggestions?
  11. I seen very few installs with the PG Octane amps and almost no reviews. I see a lot of Hifonics amps though.
  12. I really appreciate the info I'm getting from this forum. I need to sh|t or get off the pot. I have an idea of what I want, but I don't want to feel like I didn't get the most for my money.
  13. Y'all know I can't afford that
  14. Where would I find one of these?
  15. My last 6 HU's have been Pioneer. For the price and features, they work great.
  16. Wow, I really overlooked that
  17. Yep, but I may not have been looking at the right model? Got any in mind? This stuff isn't set in stone. I just need to get moving on ordering.
  18. Just a vid I dug up. It was in my Canyon. I have no idea what song I was playing.
  19. I have reserved $400 for a mono amp and a 4 channel amp. The subs will be a pair of MA Audio MA151XQ. They are 450 wrms and $53 each (ordering these from PE). I have compiled 3 amp setups: PG Octane 15.0:1 PG Octane 8.0:4 Hifonics BXI 1206D Hifonics Titan TXi 4406 MA Audio M1900XE MA Audio M500XE This is not a situation where I can, "Save up some more money and get better stuff." Any input would be appreciated.
  20. Make sure you post some pics when you slap 'em on.
  21. They look good. What size tire are you going with?
  22. Couple that with the fact they piled up the bodies *after* they fought them. Talk about being a killing machine.
