Hey man clear your PM box, I am trying to get a hold of you :)

  2. To whoever is bumping their system in central Louisiana, fuck you. I'm trying to rest :P

  3. I really dont even know what clipping is. Im also not to sure how to tune an amp. The guy im buying the stuff from said he will tune it all for me and make sure I wont blow the sub. Honestly, it's up to you on whether or not you take his deal. It is a great offer and DC makes great subwoofers. But if your willing to spend that much money, you NEED to make sure you are not sending a clipped signal to the sub. Does the guy your buying from have an oscope? If he doesn't, does he even know what one is? I'm interested into how he's going to tune it.
  4. Your not seeing 2000wrms out of your amp mate. The HFi line of amps is overrated. You may have blown your subwoofer because of clipping, did you set your gain with a oscope? I don't want to make any recommendations for equipment if you won't know how to work with it.
  5. Sonic Electronix.com seems to have GREAT prices on Kinetik batteries, and shipping is free!
  6. Friends boyfriend died a few days back, he was texting her and driving, and he missed the curve. Didn't have a seatbelt on either. IF YOU TAKE THE RISK TO DRIVE, DRIVE RESPONSIBLY! Your life is worth way too much to lose it over "lol wyd"...
  7. Not a problem man, I'm here to help Also, be sure to read my edited post regarding what size you should get.
  8. I'll be honest with you, I don't think they can handle 900wrms each. I would use a Aq1200d to run them both, you shouldn't have to worry about electrical upgrades with 1200w, my stock electrical didn't.
  9. I would suggest using 12 gauge OFC speaker wire to run from your subwoofer to your amplifier. I'm not sure on prices of DC equipment, message Dwright27 for a price quote on a DC Lv4 12. His profile can be found here. That headunit seems fine to me man And as to what size you should get, it all depends on the amount of space available and if you can afford it. A 15 has about 150% the cone area of a 12, and will move more air because of that. A 18 has about 150% the cone area of a 15, and 225% the cone area of a 12.
  10. Turn bass boost off, then bumb for a little while and tell us if you smell anything.
  11. Austin, I would suggest messaging Dwright27 about pricing for a DC Lv4. To run it, I would get a AQ1200 amplifier. I would use the KnuKonceptz 4gauge install kit. It will have everything you need except speaker wire, which you can also find on knukonceptz.com You can find some 3/4" MDF at Lowes, and build your own custom ported box. I would suggest using Torres box calculator to figure out everything you should need to know about building the box. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask
  12. Everything sold pending payment. If payment is not received, everything will be up for sale again. Thanks
  13. Also, set your gain knob with an oscope to make sure your not sending clipped signals to your subwoofers.
  14. Can't view it, upload it to Tinypic.com or another image site.
  15. I know for a fact you don't have the proper space to run a 21" Warden, so that is out of the question. I would honestly keep your setup and get a better amp man, that pyle is a pyle of shit. Hifonics amps are great for the price, except for the HiFi series, they don't do rated. Design you a good ported box with some low tuning, and make sure you electrical is up to par before adding a ton of power, because it takes power to make power...
  16. Hey Austin, welcome to the site I can tell you right now that Kenwood isn't known for their subwoofers, and buying prefab boxes is a no no. If you give us a budget to work with, we can find you something that will sound much better, and I'm sure someone here can give you a design to build your own box.
  17. Sorry all, was away at a confirmation retreat for the weekend. It's still for sell, haven't worked out details with anyone yet
  18. Trying to get rid of my old setup so I can order me a new amp. It consisted of a Kicker CVR12 in a prefab box running off a RF Punch 200.2 amp. The sub is in great condition, 9/10 cosmetic and 10/10 mechanical. I would put the amp at 6/10 cosmetically and 10/10 mechanically, it's powering my 3515 right now lol! Looking for $75+shipping for the Kicker, and $75+shipping for the RF Punch. Have original box for both, so I can ship them in those if you would like. If you buy the whole setup for $150, I'll include all the wiring you will need to get it up and running. Pics If i missed anything, please tell me. This is a first for me lol...
  19. ...its not about being able to see. Its a way of telling that your voltage is dropping.
  20. You shouldn't have to settle, you purchased a product from them with a warranty, they should honor it and do all in their power to fix the problem. This is why I like building my own box, I can alter it any way I see fit. And that includes putting a shit ton of silicon and glue lol!
  21. Is there glue currently bonding the wood together? I would suggest sealing it off yourself externally, go grab you a tube of silicon and have at it. It would only cost like $5, so it is worth a shot.
  22. They are basically saying displacements will lower box volume, which will affect the tuning, but it won't really be a audible difference... I think.
