Yeah these will be in a 4th ported through rear deck ltr in the yr. Nice! I'll be sure to follow the build. Still trying to figure out if I I want to seal my box forward into the cabin or do a 4th order. Or hell just recone and build a wall haha

Ok thanks guys. Hopefully it isn't too much of a hassle to install. I've installed headunits but never flip out ones. Are they any different than regular single dins? Since they have a screen ?

Skar audio and obsidian audio will be in your price range for subs. Since its his first system, his expectations probably aren't as high as ours so a hifonics brz1200 for sub amp will make him happy. Build your own box will be a good route if you have the tools to build a box. What kind of music does he listen to? You should ask him why he wants a sealed box. He might have gotten some info from someone saying that they are better or whatever
