  1. yeah i saw it in the vid but didnt want to bust your ass on it, cause in the same vid you said you were going to fix it. so, dont need me telling you that your box is doing the wave lol. when i saw that i was like fuck.
  2. lol god damn your roof is like eat a dickkkkkkkkkk. then again, it does have 4 15's pointed right at it. it makes me jealous that i own a tiny baby car and not a suv. makes me proud to see skar get loud like that. good build, good product :]
  3. Well I'm not about to say shit that I know nothing about. My car isn't louder than a .45 cal pistol. Unless there's something that I'm missing I don't move any air. So. Probably like a 39 at the most. Kinda sad, but whatever
  4. im not sure what a 145 sounds like, but i think a gunshot is around 145 (not entirely sure, no one has stuck a tl on their ear and shot a gun so i could be wrong) i really doubt im at a 145, after i went to the range my ears were really hurting (firing 9mm, a 1911, and another .45, and a 30-06, and a shotgun with deer slugs) if i had to guess probably high 30s maybe a 40 with the driver door open mic on passenger side. sometimes my ears hurt a little, but only lasts till i get out of my car. if i had to guess with an ear o meter, probably like 139ish
  5. well i need to rebuild the box and add more port, but i havent gotten around to doing it. but right now as it stands: system isnt dd1 tuned, but tuned by ear with a 35hz -6db tone, and probably is way under the max this amp can push out. head unit is +5/15 on the subwoofer out position (4v preouts) head unit is 32/35 on the volume voltage drop is about 12.8-13.8 depending on the song and how long im full tilting. in general, they are still VERY stiff and i'm still not xmaxing them. sound wise is perfect for me, i dont have a sq setup by any means, but these subs transition quite nicely from 55hz to 28hz. (in THIS box) i only have about 10.9 square inches of port per cube so im kind of choking them if i go even 1hz under the tuning of my box (32hz tuned) 31hz and under i can smell coil after about 10-15 seconds. i'm 100% confident about my setup as it stands, even with 12.8v drop. as long as the song is clean, box is right, and amp tuned properly you will be 100% fine with 1500w. now with like 2200W or more, you'd have to watch the voltage and watch for coil smell or shit can get messed up quickly. playing below tuning is also a bad thing. you're actually really over thinking this, a 1500W amp on two SA-12s is a joke to these subs
  6. my skars handle my sk-1500 daily at 1 ohm. the SA's should have no problem. proper box, proper tuning, proper music and you're fine. nothing special about going from 1200 to 1500 watts. im about 98% certain that the SAs can handle 1500W "all day everyday" longest ive ever full tilted my system was for about 30 minutes on the freeway going out of town, subs didnt even smell. i didnt feel them, but i doubt they were hot.
  7. alright, thanks for the offer, when i start moving up i'll probably shoot you a pm.
  8. while it would be nice to sit and talk to you for once, i really cant. (i really couldnt contribute much to the conversation besides uh huh, yes sir, and oh really) lol. im not that high up in the tech world even with my 4 year CiS degree i still chose to start low, but only cause i want to learn.. i dont want to be the guy who sits behind the desk that doesnt know anything about anything else besides what my current job is. most of the stuff i do involves server admin assistant and client repair. small businesses, like 24-25 work stations max. im only 21, so i have a LONG ROAD to learn, and i dont mind that.
  9. just nevermind, i honestly dont care. your taking this way too far and trying to make it an argument. "i'm an it manager for an insurance company" i didnt ask for credentials or ask about your background. and whos going to take the time to bust microsoft on such a conspiracy? theres like no way to prove it. not to mention theres probably that one corrupt kid in the server room that just shoots emails off to china or other parts of the world containing usernames and passwords for profit. they will keep doing it till they get caught.. cant know until someone gets busted doing it, and right now i doubt anyone has put much thought to it. you can hate, and bash me, and use all the emotes you want to. i dont mind. and when i said "thats a dumb thing to say" i meant the tin hat, but obviously you overlooked that. and lol, microsoft out of business, they would blame it on an employee before the company ever went up in flames over such shit.
  10. i got the VVX 12s on the sk-1500 (two VVX 12s, one sk-1500) they honestly want more, i can very clearly tell that they arent xmaxing, and are only getting luke warm after long periods of playing. i wouldnt put more than 1000 watts or so per driver for daily full tilting. but thats just me. theres others running way more than 1k per sub.
  11. Pretty much. Worst case scenario is you have you bank account or PayPal on the same email. They can recover passwords, change them, get in, and have your money, though they'll likely need more than just a email and password to do so. recovery question, or secondary confirmation email
  12. jaloosk thats a dumb thing to say. since when do companies follow rules/laws and everything else? but okay, you keep thinking that your hiding behind your little computer and that all your information and everything is safe. these companies will do anything to lie to you that your shits safe. just like Anon did with sony. they got all of your information if you bought something, accs/passwords credit card info.. and you know what sony did? they DENIED the whole thing ever took place, then anon posted pics and sony said the credit card info is safe. theres tons of info on what happened, but dont think shits not going on in the internet that you dont know about. theres laws, but the laws are really not enforced unless a company feels like getting some publicity. we're all going to have our own opinion on the matter, and not all of us are going to get hacked or whatever. but please dont think your safe on the internet. and sure, ill keep my metaphorical tin hat on. because i know what the internet is like. been on for 8-10 hours a day for about 7 years straight unless i have work to do.
  13. i would agree, but until i'm in a courtroom and i pull that quote out of my ass, then they say, well hold on.. we own the server which your account is on, you hold no legal grounds eat a dick.. all that it takes is for their lawyer to say the right thing and your shit toasted. for me, its still best not to trust anyone over the internet unless im friends with them in real life.
  14. im not saying your entire life story.. just email and password. an email hacker is just going to briefly look for credit card details and porn pics, then delete your email if they're a dick. change the password when they're done after they use your email to send out mass spam to your contacts. basically its down to this.. very few people pursue legal action online against a "hacker" or someone who knows your email/password. this is because a normal user only knows geek squad as their tech support and is unaware that you can track that person down who last logged into your email. geek squad will tell this person that its unfortunate, but theres nothing we can do. this is a MASS majority of americans. their might be a handful that try legal action, but get paid off and keep quiet. you know its happening, you just dont want to believe it. it comes down to "son of a bitch i got a virus and got my identity stolen, oh well" and they never use email again. i have multiple RETARDED clients who seem to go out of their way to put a virus on their computer, or give their credit card info out to scam sites. not one of them have asked "can we find them?", they just tell me that they're canceling the card and moving on, if money is missing they will tell the card companies it was fraud. people think you cant be found on the internet. but as most of you know and especially n8, bitches can be found, STILL no one believes that they can be. ive seen tons of times where people come on this site then 5 mins later have their info posted up cause they done fucked up. these are the normal americans, that think they are hiding, and think that everyone else is hiding. nope.
  15. Why wouldn't they be? It's their account not yours. Don't you ever read the 45 page long terms of service agreement? You don't think this would have been uprooted by now and a class-action lawsuit would have been filed? It's been 15 years since Microsoft acquired Hotmail. Microsoft has better ways of making money than selling Hotmail usernames and passwords. Also, it does say in their TOS that they "do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties". Do you read the TOS agreements? http://www.microsoft...ht/default.aspx http://privacy.micro...us/default.mspx Also, if your account was hacked multiple times and multiple passwords were used, I'd bet money you had a keylogger of some sort on your machine. They're more common that people anticipate. I've never had an issue with Gmail, though I never had an issue with any others prior to that. All of my passwords are only 8 characters, but a good combo of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters does the trick. And don't just put something simple followed by a "1" or a "1!". That's not any more secure. We do not sell, rent, or lease our customer lists to third parties. In order to help provide our services, we occasionally provide information to other companies that work on our behalf. guess you forgot to post that last part. TOS agreements are a very VERY fine line of understanding. when they say other companies that work on their behalf, they pretty much mean anyone who will pay them. wonder why you get spam emails from penis enhancements? certainly not cause someone guessed your email. its the same shit with phone providers selling your number to advertisers, i get calls from "0" "99999999999" and other retarded numbers all the time at home. i dont see why you of all people would put your trust in something we both know is flawed (maxim, and the internet)
  16. very true, i agree with you there, considering how Anonymous made a complete mockery out of a few companies. however, very few people on earth are tech savvy, and when i say tech savvy, i dont mean know how to send an email. there isnt enough people who are important to notice that their information is being sold off hotmail. the tech savvy people dont really care about our information being missing. and the normal user just thinks they have a virus, thanks to the commercials and other forms of media. i am by no means a normal user and i wont be fooled by "oh your password is shit" there is a deeper meaning. for one, these people have to have your email address, which if its your public one, you post everywhere.
  17. Why wouldn't they be? It's their account not yours. Don't you ever read the 45 page long terms of service agreement?
  18. It's hard to have a secure email, most email sites such as yahoo or hotmail have their flaws. I watched a hacker in my hotmail inbox try cleaning out my messages, hitting f5 showed me everything he was doing. Hotmail probably has a deal with someone in which they sell emails and passwords to. Like when I played world of Warcraft, after bringing my account back from frozen status I was immediately hacked on WoW and in my email. Neither of them had the same password. It was fine for a whole year before that. This really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone though. This is how the Internet is. Saying "get a stronger password" is quite silly in itself. Contrary to popular belief there isn't a group of people who are spending 30 hours or more typing in every combo of words and letters. Nor is there a program that can input it automatically to email sites. (there is a combo of programs that run in tandem to do this, but the coder still spends hours scripting commands) Most email sites allow you to put the wrong password in a few times, then they make you recover it, or lock your email for a few mins. If you were hacked a few things are probably the cause. A rather rare key logger Someone who knows your password Your info was sold But 98% of the time it isn't because of a "weak password" But after a compromised password it's best to follow these steps in order: Do a full scan on your computer with a well known GOOD scanner. I DO NOT MEAN avg, or norton, just to name two. Use super anti spyware or malwarebytes.(a full scan) Then change your password. (because it is compromised) This eliminates your computer from being further at fault (if it is to begin with)
  19. you arent reading the rules for one. which is a bannable offense. im pretty sure n8 is sharpening his ban hammer (why in the fuck would you sharpen a hammer i have no idea.. so dont hate)
  20. Hi trenton, considering your last topic on this exact same issue got locked. i think now would be a good time to take a walk from this website for a day before n8 bans you.
  21. i would avoid driving to the address he posted as it could be fake or a trap. wait to hear back via phone or email. remember, these are people on the internet, not your best friends. plus this is texas, showing up un announced at someones door step warrants a drawn weapon. im probably over thinking this, but i just want you and your family to be as safe as possible.
  22. mario has 10k and does 50.9 on 2 15s i believe
