ok...... bassrace thank you for saying this ha.. i was noticing quit a bit of excursion for this sub only running 2500 watts to pinpoint out how much pressure my front part of the baffle ( face) is loosing more so to speak.. i stick my head by the crack and it blows my hair.. i could probly put a piece of paper on it and shred it the box is also 30" long so its a pretty big crack

for these types of designs does this hurt the sound any? or does it more so project the airflow towards the port? always been wodering

so if i seal it will it sound alot nicer? and louder... maybe actually get roofflex like it should

oh and when people always want to see whats in my truink i dont like to turn it up but they always insit when its open, because it doesnt sound loud when the trunks open, all i can hear is wind blowing type of noise = sounds like crap when trunks open

I have been kind of dissapointed on my setup 9515 DD and AQ 220 , with an XS D3400. Dont get me wrong i love it its loud, but i dont even get roof flex. i just checked my box and on the face of it where the ports at, on the top crack where the baffle lies i must have forgott to seal the edge inside when i was making the box, because it blows air thruought that whole crack. Could i be loosing enough pressure to make a difference?

i think grandams should never have any type of bass in them.. i beleive all pontiacs should be driven off cliffs.. sorry just my 2 cents.. not bashing its just that everyone at my highschool has one haha... im sorry had to say it

i actually think this amp should have alot more potential..... i mean.. i dont even get any roof flex at all...... maybe their is a prob in the wiring idk ... all i did was wire the sub in parrallel and hook it to the amp lol, so..... any advice.. i think i should atleast be getting some roof flex

i would like to get a bit mopre bass out of my 9515 DD. I am currently running it with an AQ 2200... obviously... and have a XS D3400 with stock alt everything is working great voltage staying mostly at 14v, and i DONT want to upgrade my electrical anymore for this car. So if i would get the Rockford Fosgate T2500 1bdcp how much more bass would i get from this, because my 9515 DD is laughin at the AQ. im thinking about doing this this spring, so not anything too soon, i just want to save up if i do thanks

so you think the clipping light may be turning on .. even when their is no sign of clipping on the oscope?

my stetup 9515 DD on an AQ 2200 , if u turn my headunit to lets say half volume, i have loudness off bass boost off everything, my AQ clipping light turns on, which is normal. My buddy who has a 9512 is louder at where mine clips out and where he turns it up for demos. i turned mine up where the clipping light is on, and my windshield flexes like crazy, now i have a headache, after being use to my system for 2 weeks. My buddy says the clipping won't hurt it unless it starts to smell,, then back off My question is, am i able to play my music "windshield flexing crazy" even with the clipping light on, safely? I have not smelt anything at all from the sub " as for as today went". I really like the loudness of where i could potentially have it. But i also want to be "safe" thank you!

ha on my deck... i cant figure how to do that lol XD.. and i will set it for now, i contacted AW, or messaged them... its a good connection power light turns on and clipping light turns on, but its like its stuck , i was wondering why it wasnt superiorly loud haha, must be stuck on lowish, but still loud

but i heard 1" screws raise it by 3 DB

um..... ones that hold it in ..... doesnt matter.. personally i get ones that go through the wood to utilize it with the box

i got my system hooked up today, but the bass turns on , yes lol, but i could move the bass knob all the way up, or all the way dopwn... bass stays at same level.... its like the knob is stuck and wont change, and i never broke it because todays the first day using it.. the light turns on and it shows when i clip...... anyone else have this problem and know how to fix?.. my sub should be packing more of a punch
