  2. i have a 1973 dodge dart swinger and im looking for a higher output alternator. how much would it cost me for a 220 amp alt?
  3. i want to mount the box to the underside of the rear deck and mount the subs from the top part of the deck.so the subs are on top and visible but the box is mounted to the underside.
  4. rear deck. sorry, im having a bad couple of days. im trying to mount it to my rear deck. right under the window glass.
  5. because i want to do something new that ive never seen done. i want it to look clean and sine im going to wall in around my trunk, you wouldnt see the case and box. you'll just see my amp and the vinyl walls. then from the deck lid you'll just see the vinyl reardeck fabric and 2 8's just chilling there with a port right in the middle. its something i havent seen and i think it will look bad@$$. just my thought. ive been thinking of ways to do it, and ive got a few ideas. my only problem is i dont know how to gauge how big to make the port. im going for the new vvx-8s by skar.
  6. my bad, i was told it was a t-line, and ive been debating on hanging or dropping to floor also.i think im going to build a mount to hold the boxes up ther. like a frame so i can store stuff underneath.so id bolt it to the rear deck lid and then build a cage underneath t to hold it up./
  7. im going to build a box off of my deck lid for the new skar vvx-8 sub. im thinking ported but its going to be two boxes. one on each side mounted to the deck liud and sub ounted on top of deck into the box. any ideas how i could build this box?
  8. are you gonna put them in a box i hope? yes, i just dont know what kind yet, ported or sealed.any suggestion since you helped me with my tardo ground job.
  9. its not meant to be loud. only felt and heard.not to bassbox my car aprt.a
  10. its going to be a sealed box mounted to the rear deck of my car so the sub shows out the top of the deck. ill make box for the subs when i get them. im just having trouble choosing. also how am i getting more views on this than on my muscle car build?
  11. well i dont want just hard bass. i want mellow beat. what are some of the leading brands?
  12. i'm not worried about pricing because i just got a job again, thank god. but whats the best 8 inch sub, one that can hit if i want it to but mainly so itll give off some good beat for my rock and alternative?im looking at the 8 inch re rex subwoofer right now and before i get it, i want to see what you gut=ys think.
  13. where you located at man?i got a mtx 4320 4 channel, if interested pm me. its got a few scratches. doesnt look bad. its in my 1973 super 6 build in my sig.
  14. i don't rock huge subs or nothing. i putt around with 8's 10's and 12's right now but i noticed that when they're in a sealed box, it doesn't get much louder but when you port it then open the window.i had 1 12 in Fosgate in a ported box in the back of a suburban. got hella loudr when i opened the back doors to sport it off to all my buddies.
  15. i hope to hear from you. im looking into some coponents if you could help me out.
