you know if you put a high pass on the 6x9s they do killer highs. thats what i did in my truck. sounds great. but as stated above, stay with 6.5s they have the best all around sound quality

focal and hertz brands. they make good sounding 6.5s and such.so does rainbow but ther a bit spendy

i went from a 90 integra to a 73 dart and never looked back.the good about that vw is the motor weighs 120 pounds n is held in by 4 bolts. if you need to work on it you can pull it by your self. if its already been restored it shouldntbe too much of a headache. my motor is going bad in mine but it was garbage in the first place. ive rebuilt most of my car and im rebuilding a motor for it. as long as you keep up on basic maintenance your good. and a good thing bout that vw is its carbureted. your car dies somewhere and you need to make it home, all it needs is gas, spark and air. if your pump goes out you just need a little gas can to drop into the carbs and a wire to bump the starter. i say its less of a headache if shit goes wrong with em because you dont have to throw out bank to get it fixed. you can buy a new motor for that bug for a hundred bucks. But you know, thats just my .02

i had 2 sets of american bass 6.5 and it was still burning up. so if its not going to protect its all good? its got 4gauge to it and ill get a fan wen i build side walls

they arent clipping. the gins are all the way down. im running two per channel. set of fosgate punch 6.5s 4 ohms and fosgate prime 5.25s and on the other set of channels i have a set of aq pa supertweets and a pair of american bass 6.5 8 ohms.

as stated, my grounds are good, not loose. and only my mids highs amp is getting hoy. my aq1200d is good. its an mtx4320. what could be going on with it. like hot enough i cant rest my hand on it,like can smell the heat from front seat while its in trunk and backseats out
