crescendo 1000c4 250x4 2ohm 500x2 bridged

i just bought some crescendo ccx comps to replace my polk mm 65 coaxs.STOP!!!!maybe wasnt given enough power to the ccx but the polk coaxs blew away the ccxs.now im in a pickle,as i have 3 sets of ccxs and my 3 sets of polks lol.my polk coaxs came with a xover just like a comp set,had it runnin through hpf, then ran it full range.full range sounded way louder and cleaner.

just bought 3 sets of ccx65,ill let you know lol

crescendo audios i just received a set for $20 shipped.same tweets as the ccx comps.

here is a email i recieved from them a few days ago in regards to the new comps: Hello, A couple months ago we decided to discontinue the CCXes once they sold out. The new versions that replaced the old CCXes will be out in June. They are called the CZ series and have alot of improvements over the CCXes to make sure nothing else compares to them under the $300 range. Some differences are thicker CF cones, solid billet aluminum phase plugs, custom tooled cast baskets, larger motor structures, silk ring radiator tweeters housed in milled aluminum, newly designed crossover network. They will be no more than $149.99 shipped each set. -- Thanks and Regards, Crescendo Audio Sales (941) 257-4767

just did a box for my boat wasnt too bad.if you have any mechanical skills at all youll be fine.

o looking for 2 sets of crescendo ccx 6.5 for my boat.if anyone has them and is thinkinig of upgrading please let me know, for my boat these are the perfect price range as they have a good chance of getting soaked lol

ok i found one $40 looks like new lol.now i need 2 sets of crescendos lol

ok so i got her all finish yesterday, pretty happy with it.sounds much better than that prefabbed lol

og phoenix gold ms 275 this little amp was amazing.had 3 of them back in the early 90s pushin 4 12w6 and 2 sets of boston pro 6.5lf.miss that setup.

i have a fosgate p300 mono,jl 10w3v2,jl 12w3v1,and a jl 10w6v1 if any of those sound appealing.looking to get rid of em

ok so here are a few pics,i glassed up the inside this morning with about 3 packs of fiberglass matte from wally world(about 24sqft or 2.66 yds).i have to say that if i do this again(and i probably will,i have 3 friends that want them built already)i will build so the back is removable for easier glassing.was a pain in the arse but i got er done .i went thru about a half gallon of marine epoxy i had left over from my old malibu rotten floor job .next i started with the body filler, tommorow i will sand i do a second pass of filler.still up in the air if i am going to paint or just carpet it.was doing this on a budget and i know paint will cost more,i have everything but no black layin around so i would have to buy some,as well as some high build primer.not to mention all the prep work for the paint,so carpet might be what comes next, lol, and i am a flooring contractor so this would be rather easy .well see tommorow i guess how i feel

do you do it all at one time?or do you have to layer and dry?

just got done with the reiforcing on the insidembut not sure on how many layers i should do.i have put down about 2 yards so far,is that enough,or is more gonna sound better.also when i woke up this morning my resin was dry,but i could move the fleece alittle.is that normal until reinforcing is done and body filler is applied?

thanks guys, first timer here lol.was into audio back in the early 90s,put a stereo into my ski centurion so i decided to try and get fancy.i had a box for my 12w6 in there but just took up to much room.

ok so i decided to free up some room under the locker in my boat.building a fiberglass enclosure.check it out, started with some cardboard templates, then cut and fit all my peices.then i rounded all me edges and fit my ring and fleece, right now i have finish my first round of resin.ill post some more pics as i go.this is my first attempt, going good so far.

yea i saw those,im just lookin for alittle cheaper than $160 for them,lol.$60-90 sounds alot nicer
