Second Battery Wiring

so just ground my amps directly to the rear battery? i always thought you should ground amps to the chassis or frame because that would require the shortest length of ground wire. -

Thanks for the reply. The only thing I have grounded in the rear is my amps and it.s a good ground so I should be ok with just the negative run from the front battery. -

Bump -
I'm going to be installing a second battery this weekend and i just wanted to clarify some conflicting opinions or facts i have read here on the forums about wiring two batteries together. Is it absolutely necessary to add a ground wire to the rear chassis from the rear battery if the two batteries are wired parallel? Some threads suggested to add another ground from the second battery to the rear chassis to minimize voltage drop while others have said it isn't necessary. I have a 2000 Honda Accord and I have an Optima Yellow Top upfront and will be adding another in my trunk where the spare tire is. I have a T1500-1bdcp and i just ordered a T400-4 powered by a MechMan 220a with big 3 upgrade done in 1/0ga. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks.

i would love for tebow to stay and learn a great deal under manning but tebow wouldn't be able to come in if manning got hurt or something like that and be effective what so ever with our new offense. it wouldn't be fair to tebow or to the broncos. Thats true but at the same time they could work with tebow and im sure he could handle the new offence if he really had to the boy is incrediable there's no doubt his work ethic is legendary and his will to win is incredible. but the inability to consistently throw the football or having the biggest heart does not always produce wins. i wish tebow nothing but the best going forward. -

i feel the same way. i think indy should have never let him go. i'm sure they could of re-worked his contract to better suit both parties. it's a shame because he gave that franchise everything he had for 14 years. he deserved better from them. but i guess that's how business works sometimes. -

i totally understand some people's frustration with this move, but as someone who has been a broncos fan literally my whole life (hell i was born into a broncos family lol) i am really exited about this and i would have never thought this was a possibilty 1 year ago. -

i disagree i think the fact that the whole offense had to change mid season and they still had the best season yet shows that set up would have worked very well The success we had is a testament to coach fox and the staff, but in the nfl the coaching staff shouldn't have to take out a sizeable portion of their playbook just to accomodate a qb who cannot execute basic throws on a consistent basis. I have nothing against tebow as a person, but it was hard to watch alot of the games (both won and lost) watching tebow miss wide open receivers or totally fail to see that he had a wide open guy elsewhere on the field. -

Well denver has no choice but to trade or release tebow imo. He just wouldn't fit in at all ith our new offense. But ya we did have our best season since 05 but tebow was definitely not our long term solution at qb if we were serious about winning games, especially in the playoffs. -
