so active is xover then the amps and passive is amps then speaker/tweeter? and also i dont know if this belongs but how are stock tweeters wired in? own channel or directly to the driver? i only ask due to weather keeping me inside. ALSO, i just bought a pair of speakers, I think the easiest way to do it for me( being my first real system) would be H/u ----- amp ------ xover-----driver and tweeter. thats how i am going to run my system ? what is that called? thanks in advance.

So the normal on goes to amps up to 6k anything over and upgrade is recommened. What about amps that are strapped? Are they affected.

if you wire it from the alternator ------front batt ----- rear batt. make sure to get an isolator or the second battery will discharge the front one if you use your system with the car off. I would just go from alternator to rear battery less chance of losing the current and then both can charge. my .02 cents

No i know its all good thanks for catching me. and OP, i have used aero ports before and am currently using them . I think once you get the right length and everything i like em. still need to compare them to a sloted box with same setup to do fair justification but i would do what you want. my next build i will switch it up. Its all prefrence. i think one is suppose to be for more spl and the other sounds better IIRC, i cant really remember. just my 0.02

Ok. Well for my system aq 2200d @1ohm and ill be getting a nice 4 channel what would i need besides new stock battery. I did big 3 i have stock 125amp alt. Do i need 2 batteries?
