I don't think thats correct. The way i have been told and understand it is if they are all the same kind its fine. But yours are all the same kind, and same brand so it should be fine because the chemistry in the batteries is the same. Maybe someone can chip in and agree or correct me but i believe your ok.

No, just as long as the type of batteries are the same ( ex. agm, wet cell, etc) -
Bought a Xs Power D3400 from him, locally came and picked it up, great guy , nice guy to talk to set the deal and completed it. No BS straight up guy. Thanks for the battery man and home you make a full recovery!

My g6 said tgat same battery size online but ppl and nathan himself told me a d3400 will fit. -
150 amps made up with baterries. Does that mean there amp hours need to add up to that ? And did you factor in my d3400 starter battery?

So i am strengthing my electrical system and need some knowledge. I have an aq 3500.1 at .5 ohms. I am picking up a d3400 under my hood tonight. I also have a singer 250 alt and all 1/0. I know i need battery (s) in back but how many and which size. Also whats the equations to figure out how big alt you need and how much battery amps you need ?

Must be talking about agm batteries. Yes its best to use all agm prefreably all the same brand.

What is the final load of the subs wired together, and RMS of each sub? My mrp 1000 ran hot so i sold it.

Hello everyone, I recently bought a Singer 250 amp alternator for my Pontiac G6. I have no doubt in my mind that it does or exceeds what i am told and what i paid for. I really just want my own satisfaction and to learn some new tricks. I currently have this clamp meter http://www.sears.com/craftsman-digital-clamp-on-ammeter/p-03482372000P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3 Can i clamp the alternator with it ? I have tried it , played system close to full tilt, and voltage down to the 13.5s and still with the max hold set to on i only get a reading of 7 amps or so. I usually will have it in the 20 amp postion. Someone shed some light on my NOOBISH mistake, thanks.
