  1. I am surprised it has taken as long as it has. Isn't the sound quality from a cd better than downloaded files? Any ways. Great CD/album glad I ordered mine #78. aint made it yet. Doing pretty damn good on Itunes, google play, spotify etc...but physical CD's are selling slow. Not a lot of people know about it or where to get it. Maybe it will happen next month, maybe it will happen later this year, i don't know.
  2. My first thought was rear diff. It's real easy to look in there. It's like 12 bolts and some gasket material.
  3. Not an expert but looks good To me. That is the same ratio i am going with, 2:1. I am in the process of building a 4th order. Really pumped to hear one of these things. You going to start a build log?
  4. Thanks for all the input. They all have similar voltage so I should be good to go.
  5. my bad grim didn't mean to screw up your forum. Next time I ask a question and you think it's dumb maybe you can tell me how you really feel. Get over it and thanks for your input.
  6. In my honest opinion I think an L7 as nice as it is might push your budget over the edge. What I mean by that is the sub is roughly 230 and to run it a kicker zx 1500 is around 400. But if you are set on a L7 do it and maybe find an amp that is a little cheaper like 1000rms. And I think you building your own box is a great idea. That's my favorite part of installing my system.
  7. If you happen to stumble across a t4000 you will def. need a high output alt and batteries to be on the safe side. When you go big, you have to pay. Just found all this out myself. Good luck with your build.
  8. Well I have three yellow top optima batteries and wanted to use them and they told me I couldnt unless they were new
  9. So my local stereo shop tells me I need all new batteries when using them together. For example, if I were running only one spare batt it would be ok that it was a used battery. However when doing multiple batteries they say you must use all new batteries so they don't draw down from one another?? I'm confused because as far as I know no two batteries are going to have the exact same voltage. So what is the difference if they are new as long as they all are good?
  10. Thats why I suggested maybe doing a removable port so you can get you port tuning right. And if you decide to go with a 3:1 ratio that tends to make for a paekier box. So it would be less musical.
  11. I think the box ratio is good. I have seen several 4 th order boxes loaded with the subs firing towards the port and they worked well. I am curious what you are going for. Spl? Or a daily driver? If a daily driver I would try and design it with a tunable port. I will give you muck better chance of getting the port how you want it without rebuilding your box.
  12. Don't think it will fit in your trunk. If it does I'm guessing you will have to build it in the trunk. Go no back seat and wall it! Lol go big.
