  4. I get on the elevator with 3 women one was a little person. They began debating about a subject and during the debate one of the women tells the little lady "you know what I have out grown you". I couldn't contain myself so I died laughing and they actually looked at me like "whats so funny?"

  6. PROBLEM FUCKING SOLVED!!!!!!!! Somehow something about the crossovers caused the amps to go into protect but I removed all of the crossovers and beat on the system for a while at total undistorted volume (35/40) and they never protected once. Bad thing is I stripped the car down on my lunch break but ran out of time so there are wires hanging everywhere in my car right now . Oh well atleast I figured out my problem and got that shit fixed what I wanna know now is wth is wrong with the damn crossovers I bought these components brand new a week ago. Thank you all for your assistance once I get it up and playing I promise to actually record videos.
  7. Yeah if this fixes the issue I will just go ahead and wire pairs down to 2 ohms. They will be seeing less power but I could also drop the freq on the mids down. I am going to wait for Ray to chime in and then I will decide if I need to wire these and go active.
  8. I am waiting for Ray as well...on my lunch break I am going to go downstairs and wire the rear speakers directly to the amp (no crossover) and see if it still protects then I am going to retune the system and see what happens. I need to start exhausting all options because this is frustrating I hate not being able to turn it up like I want.
  9. You're thinking the frequency is too low?
  10. I just posted the question in his tech support thread. EQ is flat right now and the amp HPF is set at 80hz for all channels.
  11. 2 ohms unbridged 4 ohms bridged each channel is seeing 4 ohms independently. I am starting to think it may be the crossovers or the remote wire causing issues but I am not sure why either would. I am going to go out there today and give it a shot and see what happens. I still need to gain match the amps but I want to solve this problem before I do so.
  12. This is a bit of a rush because if there is an issue with the amps themselves then I need to hurry up and return them to the person I bought them from before its too late (Amps purchased off of ebay). Just a recap when I was only using one of these amps everything worked fine and I can play as loud as I wanted with no issues I now add another amp and I am having problems. Nothing else has changed I have 2 STL4.500's and 1 TX1.1300 wired up right now. Before I only had 1 STL4.500. Are there any other things I need to test or try to diagnose where my issue could be?
  13. Okay here it is I have re wired all of the speakers and I have straight lines front to back no crimping. Measured the wires in the back and I am reading ohms like I should be. I re did my grounds and I now have one ground at the front batt and 2 in the rear all very solid on the rear struts. Played the amps with all speakers unplugged and re tuned them no issues again when I plug in the speakers (I even tried just the ones in the back) as soon as I get pass a certain volume the amps go into protect really quick and then come back on. I usually back the volume down after this. I noticed it seems to only be on a bass line. Measured voltage at each amp and each is seeing between 14.1v and 14.2v there is no bass in the car right now until I figure out this issue. I dont know where else to troubleshoot but I am running out of ideas here.
  14. Dmm on each coil and see if they read something crazy each should read around 2 ohms (won't be spot on but should be close)
  15. That would be great to see a lot of old comedies come back and re do the seasons from start to finish instead of just re runs we've seen in no real order.
  16. Yeah man I watched the Jeffersons a lot plus a few of the movies he appeared in.
  17. Reports just say he was found in his home in Texas. He had no wife no kids, dead at 74.
  18. R.I.P. to Sherman Hemsley aka George Jefferson, I use to love watching the Jeffersons.

  20. Actually I will lend a general opinion off the fact that I work for a company that defends most of the corporations that have to deal with these ridiculous suits. In all honesty a lot of the times unless the Company being sued wants to save face they will only offer a BS settlement to shut the plaintiff up and have them sign a clause saying they can never sue again. In most instances the plaintiff's attorney's will deny the settlement and take it to court. I can tell you this from what I know personally there are 1000's of cases right now against one specific company and so far they have only settled with a few, one woman won an obscene amount in court and it was appealed and has been stuck in limbo so she will probably never see a dime and the rest are still fighting for anything they can get. After the cost for your legal team (because it is no longer one attorney working for you) most of these people lose more money in time and work hours than they gain in the end. Not to mention the taxes on the money they do win and the fact that they always end up in litigation with relatives who want their cut. Excuse the long paragraph but just to get back on topic I can promise you this none of those will stick and if they do happen to settle the gain wont be worth it. If he takes it to court good luck seeing anything because there is no such thing as a speedy trial from the Corporate Litigation standpoint. My company has been fighting the same cases since I started working here 5 years ago with no end in sight hell funniest thing is almost half of the plaintiff's have passed on and the case is now the estate of such and such.
  21. Yes the amps are in 2 channel operation with one pair of RCA's each.
  22. dont mean to jack the thread, but how do you measure resistance in a crossover? do you have to have the speakers attached to it and measure the "amp in" terminals on the xover? Thats a good friggin question I was just going to check it from the speaker wire at the amp (which runs back to the crossover)
