Thank you for the quick responses... also what should i fuse the batteries with? 300a or should i use lower? I have three amps i am running 2 zx1000.1 and zx650.4. Also i have a cap a 6 farad i am not using would i benefit from using it or should i just leave in the closet.

so pos to pos on the battery w/ fuse in between each battery. I have searched this before and some people say it is bad on the batteries, although the diehard is maybe just at 2 months and the yellow top is new. So i am just curious will it be bad on the batteries. Also i dont plan on running with the car off anyway.

Ok so i have picked up a yellow top, got it new for $50. so temporary till i get the xs power, and i am going to wire it in the cargo of my ford escape. My main battery is a diehard gold http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02850640000P I do have the big 3 upgraded. A h/o alt will be ordered soon just saving up for it. I am wondering is it a good or bad idea to use the relay? If not what options do i have for wiring the second battery up.

My boy as a boss and he blew the internal fuse within a week. it was hooked up right cuz i did it. kept blowing the fuse even after putting a larger fuse in so i just ran it direct w/o fuse. told him he should scrap it cuz im sure it will mess up eventually running w/o fuse. i stick with pioneer also.

yup just wanna know what other people would do... me personally would use a box with a speaker on the inside having one of the walls a piece of sheet metal with a deadening material on it and get vibrational results. Also putting like a small fan in the box to see how much noise it would cancel out. But i dont know i want to see what other people ideas were?

Well i guess after your test you wont disclose the information, but i guess you could say are you getting what you pay for? There are several products that are cheaper in the wallet, but is it cause of the thickness of material. i know what its made of will play a factor as well so which material would be best I have seen several alternatives like peel and seal but i personally think thats out of the picture. i dont want alternatives i want positive results that will last.

What is a main issue with that product? im down in texas also so how much did the heat play a factor in that?

I am asking more or less if a person was able to get material from several companies that make deadening material what are ways you would test the differences?

been to that site read it and there was good info, but was interested in actual differences in product brands. why choose dynamat, fatmat, second skin etc. If people have done there own type of test and have results with data of any sort.

If you were to test different types of sound deadening material how would you go about doing that??

Thank you everyone for the input it seems i may be going with the mechman or mike singer... mech was a 100 more and the mike singer seems to have some good reviews as well so its between either one now just to get the cash and get one
