This will be my first year competing in meca. I was also wanting to hit a few local dbdrags too. I am completely sealed off in the front and back. I tuned the box to 36 hz. But I have absolutely no lows. Again, I still need to put it on a termlab, but I played young Jeezy's "Put On" and I'm pretty sure my 6.5's have just as much bass as the 15's do that low.

Ok. I understand. Ive never had a system that had this much difference between sealed and ported. I didn't know if I did something wrong or what. Thanks guys.

So if I do a bigger enclosure will this help or hurt me? Same with port?

I just finished my wall and I am fairly happy with it except for one thing. With the car doors open it is pretty loud (haven't metered yet.) but with the doors shut it is substantially quieter. If I were to guesstimate I would say between 5-7 db difference. My dash and everything in the car shakes with the doors open but sealed not too much is going on. I know that it has to do with frequency and box design. But how can I retain the pressure with the doors shut?

I just remember reading that xs needed a special agm charger...????

I have 2 Kinetik 2400's. Why can't I use my standard charger on them? What are the consequences? I haven't done it yet. The batteries are in my car now being charged by the alts but I was going to slap the charger on them this weekend but I remember reading that xs batteries can't be charged on a standard. Am I in the same boat?

yes the most recent one is sold and past that goes back months ago. I couldn't find one available.

I'm doing my build right now. running both amps at .5 1 amp to each sub in a single chamber box. Should I strap them together? If so how do I do it?

.5 sealed 156.8 kick158.0 headrest156.2 .25 sealed 158.4 kick 159.0 headrest 157.6 I'll go for the high end...give you something to shoot for.

no problems here. They do have great customer service.

that white piece should be your factory sub. If you don't want to do a lot of modifying just remove the sub and let the air flow througn. It would be better if you cut out the whole piece though

I use tnuts. 1/4 - 20 thread. Don't need to but I wrap mine in teflon tape too.

I need 2 remote gains??? (Bass Knobs)for 2 Sundown 3000d's. I understand that there is a link that I can get to use 1 knob for both amps without strapping?

Still need to work on electrical but I have 2 alts totaling 250. And 2 kinetic 2400s. After thanksgiving I'm having my factory alt rewound and prob buy one more 2400.
