how loud would 2 sa-8s be compared to a l7 15". i know they would absolutely crush them in sq but would they be much louder or even as loud as the l7. honestly idk if 2 little 8s could make as much noise as my l7 does. the 8s would probably be walled off from the trunk and the l7 will be sub up port back in the trunk so both given the right box, would the sas be louder? also how would 2 sa-8s like 2k daily for long periods at a time?

its not as hard as you think it is to build boxes basedgod. just have 412 get you a design and a cut sheet you take the cut sheet to home depot or lowes have them cut the wood for you then all you do is glue and nail it together.

my max dimensions are 15h x 30w x 35d. id like to be tuned around 32. i have a kicker l7 so id like around 4.5 net and its going in a 2001 ford taurus.

does everything on here look good? would the port be ok or is it to thin? and i know i forgot to add in the brace on the torres but it dosnt really change much at all.

i have my l7 15 in my back seat for now. it gets really loud but it gets a lot louder when i have the trunk open. a lot of weird stuff like that usually happends when you put it in your back seat so i say just put it in the trunk.

try it build a test box meter without sound deadner then meter with it and then you tell us.

yeah keep the 2 you have build a ported box and get a better amp. that would cost a lot more like 600$+ more

How would a hifonics 1606 compare to the brz 1700? They both have 160 amp fuse. I can get the 1606 plus 2 cvr 12 s for 240 or just the brz for 209 what would be the better deal? I don't have a need for the cvrs but I could sell for like 100$

yeah id get a 2k rms amp. but if i were you id look around at different brands before you make a decision. l7 are good subs but you could get much better for the price. id look into dc audio audioque fi sundown they all make very quality subs, they will get louder and sound a hell of alot better then the l7s. they will also be cheaper.

hmm im not sure on what you mean when you say behind your seats. do you mean on your back deck? also if you look on craigslist you can usually find a pair for around 300

you could get wayy better equipment for 1k then that. but if your set on that id look around for used you could get all that for around 500 or 600 and build your own box they will sound horrible in that prefab box.

oh dont worry ill be keeping all the factory wiring so when i get my new car i take my wire with me

im not planning on having this car for more then 3 or 4 more months so this is the last system i will have in it

well ill never be upgrading the alt on this car so i should be okay with any wire for the big 3. would the amp be okay on the 4 guage? its the flat kind so it would be a hella lot easier to run.
