with such little spake to work with. id say ur very well on a good track. jl seems like a real good choice. some very SQ in that. kickers should work. but if i were you iry to go a different route (not that a dislike kicker) just from personal experience kicker isnt a very much way to go for some SQ

So it doesn't hit you wallet hard pace yourself. Buy a nice sub setup. And nice sub amp and then focus on your highs and mids keep in mind you have wiring to purchase aswell and the good stuff is not necessarily. Cheap. And also a HeadUnit

Well you need to measure what can either fit in the trunk through the opening, or be ready to build into the trunk. Its a pain in the ass to build in the trunk, but you can utilize a ton more space. I have a 98 civic 4 dr, and I think mines a tad bigger than yours...you should be able to fit 2 12s in there though. As for subs...a sub will play whatever you tell it to, even the stuff it shouldnt. What hz range it can play is more based on the box and how you build it/design it vs what subs you put in the box. SQ is sound quality, which is alot more than just sounding clean. Focus on the design and what you can fit comfortably over a poor design. I second this. You can make almost every sub sound good with a good box and hit any note Just depending on you box tuning.

You don't need to go very expensive to be loud and clear. Unless you want to be extremely loud and clear. I'm. A noob too...welcome lol. But it all depends how much you want. And is. The 1000$ just for subs? Or amp too?? Or the whole system??

B version?? sorry for being such a noob IIRC b version is refering to the second revised series of 100.4s. IIRC they revised it 4 times there for the 4th revised is all debugged and what not yes? what about the second revisioned one? any cons? because i have the worst damn luck in the whole wide worl i can assure anyone that. if anything can go wrong it will lol.

physical is really no prob. since that can always be painted. you only have the 125.2 or do you have a 100.4 aswell?

guess what guys.. i opened up my amp just now after chasing my tail around all day trying to figure out whats wrong. process of elimination of deck, rcas, pre amp EQ, speaker wire. fuses. and i finally open my amp. and i spot two tiny little things....FRIED!! so now im looking for a new amp. and see if anyone could fix this amp aswell... thanks but i think door speakers are going to have to wait a little longer.

i want to put comps. in the front 2 doors. and coax in the rear 2 doors. but the 150 is my budget per set

anybody have a used but really good condition 100.4 or know where i can purchase one not too expensive. sorry for being such a broke a** but looks like my amp pooped out and now in search of something new. and of course i like my amps to match so need to fnid a nice sundown for my bass aswell thanks guys
