What product or combo of products do I need to be able to control everything off of my phoen and where is the best/cheapest place to buy from? I see people on here saying they are ~200 for the 5901 and I cant find that price anywhere

deadening the doors

Alrite. I have ~2" from the back of the skin to anything important (or at least I do at the speaker hole. Ill get the panel off and measure after Im done moving. this stupid truck rattles and shakes so much and has so much road noise I ust want that nice quiet ride so ill hack up whatever I have to to get it -
If youve got a taller tire the effect of a rear gear change isnt as big of a deal on your MPG because your going back closer to a stock ratio. I ran a 29" tire on my camaro with 4.56s and got better mpg than the stock 26" tire and 3.42 gearing. Find a ford forum and see what guys are doing gear wise for 33s to get a little of the low end back. Im sure a 3.90 with the autio would be plenty

DUURRR i totally forgot to add, When you unbolt it, it doesnt go anywhere. Its glued on and has some mystery place where we havent figured out why but it wont come off. To get it completely off you have to break it or cut a large large sections of it -

deadening the doors

Here is the best picture of it i got. The actual door panel mounts to the black plastic frame, but i could/would remount that. A few guys on the ram forum have cut tiny random pieces of it out and then took thing strips and did it that way, but no way in hell am i that articulate with my fingers that I can do that... not to mention me hands wouldnt fit in there like that lol. -
deadening the doors

I have a 2011 dodge ram ans have found myself with a small issue. I took the doors apart again today to look and measure for deadener. I'm leaning toward 100% coverage of some type to get the road noise out of my truck. Its rather loud and annoying so i want to make sure i get it right. The inner skin on all 4 of my door is a hard plastic nasty piece that is ribbed and angled and just shitty. I'm wondering about taking/breaking it out and deadening the outer skin (sheet metal) and then cutting the speaker mounting pod out of the plastic and regards attaching it (there are 4 bolts around the speakers so it would be solid). I'm just worrying about sq from the speakers as it would technically unseal the doors. Does this sound like it will work or should i find abdofferent approach? -

Sub up port forward or sub forward port forward?
SS4Luck replied to SS4Luck's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
If its subs forward port up then the box will be tall, I only have 22" wide to work with so I couldnt be able to put them next to eachother. I dont mind putting them that way though. Just gotta figure out a way to secure the box. Looks like its time to start designing another box for these stupid freakin speakers lol. anyone got recomendations for port size or port vs cubes? -

Sub up port forward or sub forward port forward?
SS4Luck replied to SS4Luck's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
The current box is ~6 cubes after displacement tuned 35hz w/ roughly 100" of port i believe. Its in the 90-100 range i know that
