  1. Can't wait to see it........ Chicken has heard it before today, right? Video is private.....
  2. Cool vids......... Those subs do push some pressure... Whats the name of the first song?
  3. My bro has the same car...... Only part that kinda sucks is that the trunk is completely sealed... No biggie, but its gotta be opened up for some serious sound/ airflow. I'm thinking at least 6 bodies.
  4. Lookin' sick....... I dont know if you mentioned it or not before, but are you putting in 6.5s in the kick pods? Pure loudness.......
  5. How do the mids sound? Are they comparable to any other popular speaker?
  6. I have never done it, but my $.02 is that if you're trying to save money by going single cab w/ a blow through your going to loose a lot more than the cost of an extended cab when you go to resale it. The way I look at it, if you take your beat out when you go to resale it nobody is going to want to buy a truck with a huge ass hole in it (The whole rear window).......That really cant be fixed. Or at least I wouldn't. If you keep your beat in, your still going to loose quite a bit on it. I figure about $300 after you have the camper shell. If you do it.... I would do it like this: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=10826 Your still putting a hole in the truck, but its not something that cant be reversed.... And definitely more forgiving as far as mistakes go. Nick still has some serious beat too. But to answer your question a sawzall and a steady hand.
  7. WTF.... I wouldn't even want to listen to that shit...... Quality or SPL......Thats it.
  8. Hey Steve, whats the next competition you'll be at locally here in California? If you know already.....
  9. Pretty much, no matter what if you get enough power to those subs, and a well built enclosure your not going to be comfortable...... IMO, the pressure from low notes is a painful feeling......When you have enough.
  10. 1 or 2 6x9s and front speakers that are loud as hell will solve the problem. Rears = Fillers/ Fronts = Primary source for everything but bass. How is your cross over set up on your Eclipse amp? Hpf OR all pass? Hpf = better in your case, louder highs with less bass meaning you can crank the speakers harder.
  11. Yup...... TA, only downside to running two ohms is you loose the ability to fade from left to right. (Mono) I saw this: http://www.cartronixplus.com/templates/det...FTOKEN=26945139 and this: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-znTmeIEk6VY/A...pine&tp=108 I really have no idea what they go for or if they are worth it, but its a thought. Heres how you change a four ohm speaker to a 2 ohm speaker. Edit: Just looked at your speaker amp...... 75 Watt RMS/ Channel at 4 ohms.... ~300 RMS @ 2 ohms and bridged (150 watts per speaker).
  12. Are you running your fronts at two ohms now?
  13. I haven't ever heard your truck, but Your running an amp to your speakers, so just run the front 6's at two ohms, if they aren't already, and ( only 2) 6x9s at 4 ohms. You may have to play with the gain levels on your amps.... My .02$ Running the fronts at 2 ohms makes them about 20% louder... Assuming they aren't peaked yet.
