does anyone think this amps does what its rated @ 3500rms @ 0.5ohm 14.4 volts

could anyone tell me which way to aim my subs? im planning on aiming 2 at the trunk and then another 2 towards the car (back to back) the woofers aimed at the trunk will be mounted inside the box the woofers at the back will be mounted outside the box (inverted) since im tight on space

how would 1 go about tuning there system using a dd-1 with an Equalizer in there system

oh shit true i havnt tryed it out myself will sometime today normally when a song is clipped or has a higher peak than most my songs i play i just have the volume down anyways my system cuts out when the volume is to high so i know to turn it down at least 3 or 4

you have any idea how i would set the gains while the signal is coming from my eq? because my eq also has a bass output with a min to max and an over al volume for the sub+mids highs would i just set them half way sub output and volume then set the volume on my headunit then set the gains ?

hes talking about the wave not red lines... so turning a square wave (clipped) into a more round or completely smooth wave means your still just masking it? or since its squared does it just mean its fucked altogether?

ive managed to smooth out a few songs ive made i high pass the song @ 1000hz @6db roll of then low pass 1000hz @12db roll of then just export it and should be pretty fucking smooth unless the song is really bad

x2 this. you can make big bucks if theres people around you that have systems. yeh im not to worried about money most bassheads i know around here are good friends hell i even give them free 2 gauge and 0 gauge wire i dont think i could charge them and there only good mates because there bassheads and the only bassheads around for miles lol the only problem is that they no bugger all about systems thats y i signed up here hell 1 mate not long ago was using 10gauge wire to power his amp LOL but now his new amp wont power up with 10 gauge so i had to give him 2gauge wire

there not completely sealed when i push on the subs it makes an air noise (because around the woofer cut out airs escaping slightly) sigh lol so would i still smell it before it blows or might blow?

yup ive got them wired down to 1ohm each and briged on the amp connections positve and negatives from each sub going into the 4 positive connections of the amps with the rcas in bridged mode 1 master 1 slave ive dont a dmm reading and says the subs are at 0.5ohm 2 0.4ohm

also thank you for the quick replies guys i cant get much help where i live which is in rural new zealand and theres pretty much no big bass heads for miles!!! the closet car audio store is a 6hour drive away

i dont smell the subs at all then again i dont play ive only played it for around 7-10mins max at full tilt the mrs cant take how loud it is for 2 long its not loud at all to me to give you guys a fair idea ive got the subs sitting in the trunk of a 95camry in sealed boxes YES sealed boxes lol so as you can imagine now that loud but anyways i never smell the subs and the subs only get warm after an 1hour play on 3quarters of the max volume i normally go which is 34 and i can only go around 25 with the mrs in the car and the vac is around 80 at the volume so 80 vac for an hour then they get pretty warm is that ok? or should my subs not get warm at all? i live in new zealand and would love to get a dd-1 do they get shipped international??? im keen to buy 1 asap my headunits a gay fusion one the max volume on it is 51 and at fult tilt i wont go any further than 34 how can i know if the signal would be clean without a dd-1 or o-scope?

ive got no idea how to set gains and my amp has the detect clipping button you push and it lights up when supposively you have the gain to high i dont know if its accurate but ive got 2 soundmagus 3500d amps bridged on 2 blaupunkt 18s @ 0.5ohm (because the amps are 0.5ohm stable) my meter reads before the amp goes into clipping it around 97.6vac is that safe for my subs? there 1800rms 5400w max and i doubt very much these amps would even pull 1000rms realisticly even though they claim 3500rms at 0.5ohm let alone 7000rms bridged but any way is that safe?
