I'm looking for a Rockford Fosgate or MB Quart (really any decent brand) amp that puts out ~400-750w rms @ 2 ohm. Am I allowed to post a WTB without 150 posts or is that just for sellers?

The leak is from my head units constant hot and key hot both being hooked to constant so my head unit is always drawing power.

It was charging at 12.6v. I've charged it numerous times hooked up without the frying of past amps so I don't know what happened. No magic white smoke either.

I hooked up a battery charger to my trucks battery and I went outside 30 minutes later to look for my cell phone and my amp was ON and it was flickering in and out of protection mode. It was soooo hot I couldn't hold it. I quickly disconnected the remote wire thinking I was getting a signal from my head unit since I've been getting a voltage leak lately and it didn't stop. Once I stopped the charger, the amp went off. All that was connected to the amp were power and ground wires and it was still on. I turned the charger back on the the amp stayed off. WTF HAPPENED? I think it fried my amp. I'm so pissed right now.

Looking for a used Sundown SA-8 v.1 sub. One that is not in need of a recone or blown coil..

I ordered an SA-8 v.1 and I don't want to wait for a few weeks for it to break in so how do I go about breaking it in via free air? I've never done it before. How much power? What frequencies and where can I get some of the tracks? Thanks, Will

Yes, this X2! If you have problems figuring something out with the Torres calculator, someone will help you. And that will still be considered your design. And he is right, it feels so good to come up w a design yourself, then build it, then see and hear the results. Now is the best time to learn, and like I say, if you need it, we will help! I'll consider it. It does indeed sound satisfying!

Yea that's what I'm thinking. 600w rms is probably plenty for them daily anyway and then I have room for another D4 later on maybe

Can they safely handle 1000w rms daily? I'm buying an SA-8 and my amp does 600w rms @ 2 ohm and 1000w at 1 ohm so I need to know if I should order the D4 or D2 sub.

Yea definitely not paying >$8 for a design when there's a guy doin them for $1. I just can't seem to get a hold of him anymore. He's designed me a few boxes already for past systems.

I need a ported enclosure for a single Sundown SA-8 preferably tuned around 32-33hz. I'll be using it daily with 500-600w rms. Anyone have a design for me?
