  1. All four subs can be in he same chamber it doesn't effect anything. As far as port/sub placement, usually subs and port on the same plane works well OR you can do a CRX style which is where the subs are on the top and the port facing the rear. Box/port size differs from sub to sub. What Are you using???
  2. So this was something I did over a year ago... I choose this type because it best fit the stock interior color and hey, I LOVE camo all types I don't discriminate That was my first time doing any sort of interior work ... I'm gettin bored of it now so I will probably switch to another different kind of camo this summer. I'm not a hunter so don't even ask
  3. I would throw a ZX2500.1 on the pair and call it a day!!! thats close to 1500rms on each of them. In your case I would be build a bigger box 6 cubes seems a little small for 2 of them. They like big boxes I would go 4.5-5 cubes per driver if you could. That shit will be LOUD!!!! I would set your gains accordingly and you should be fine with that amount of power on them.
  4. Correct me if Im wrong on this one but doesnt a ported box have a pretty steep roll off around 15hz above tuning?? If that were the case I would say since you are tuned to 33hz I would say set your low-pass at 60-65hz.
  5. Heeey my mom belongs to that forum... I would be one mad customer if that was my vette
  6. I don't know but recently I'm just feeling like the odd man out when it comes to my friends/roommates. They are snowboaders. Infact that is all they do is eat, sleep and talk about snowboarding. They bring their snowboarding friends over and watch videos and talk about snowboarding while I sit there not understanding a damn thing!! I have nothing against the sport I just don't share the same love as they do for it. While they are partying I'm downstairs working on my shit or at work. Non of them have jobs but some how manage to pay for rent, gas, food, and partying. Then they get pissed at me because I'm "not around" . Unlike them, I have to pay for all my shit so I go to school during the day and work every night. Anytime I start talking audio I get the deer in headlights look from them so I just shut-up. I just wish I had some friends that could come over and shoot the shit about systems and what not, help me work on my shit and chill. Maybe when summer rolls around Ill meet some people at some shows(itll be my first time going to any)For now the internet will have to do.
  7. Thats fuckin cool man. The fact that you have friends that share the same love for audio and are willing to help you out!! I would kill to have friends like that. All mine do is roll their eyes at me when I start talking anything audio. Imma one man band
  8. I took them out yesterday.. It WAS a sweet idea but to many problems I didn't give thought to. mehhh you live and you learn. I guess this puts a damper on my razor wire wrapped box lol
  9. I needed gearing so I had 529s f/r installed along with an ARB airlocker in the front and spool in the rear. life got better after that!!!lol I brought it home to show my parents. I got some funny looks drivin down the highway. Then it was off to dresser once again!!! Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard space.... There ya go!!! I sold the truck so I could start my stereo... I learned a lot about toyota during this build and I probably wont wheel anything else but toyota. Next year I will probably start another build!!! I miss my truck
  10. And so the build begins again.. I needed new driveshafts so square tubing was used mmmm beefy I also wanted to do rear disc and a new paintob. along with chevy rear springs in the back to get more flex. as you can see the chevs are quite longer the the stock toyota ones New springs hung ewww blocks, but hey I didnt have much money Rear disc brakes on!!!
  11. My rig wasnt in the picture but here are some friends mud This obstacle twisted both my F/R driveshafts.. Nothingf beats sittin by the campfire after a long day of wheeling.. Then gettting REALLY drunk and passing out the having your friends do this to you.. The next day I managed to flip my truck over That my buddy goin WTF?? I that was the end of my 3day memorial weekend. I drove the truck back home and parked it for the next 6 months till dresser comes around next year
  12. I trailored it home and NO that steering is not done that was just put on so I could move the truck around!!! a week later my trail-gear high steer crossover came! It was finally able to drive on the street. soon after it was time for...
  13. Wow I just dicovered this area on the forum..I figured I'd post my trail rig the build and the death of.... Enjoy!!1 We will start with the original pic..88 4runner 3.0, 5spd, 4" superlift suspension lift 35" bfgs. This was my daily driver. I wanted to turn this into a narly trail rig so of coarse the IFS suspension has to go!!! I went with trail-gear for a Solid axle swap kit Now for the fun stuff!!! the gutting and reinstallation of the new front suspension
  14. I took them out yesterday.. It WAS a sweet idea but to many problems I didn't give thought to. mehhh you live and you learn. I guess this puts a damper on my razor wire wrapped box lol
  15. friends= no charge if you're not my friend then there is probably a reason so I wouldn't even do it...
  16. I would've never guessed....thats fuckin rad man!! total sleeper there. I likey
  17. I might have missed it somewhere but what vehicle are you going to supercharge???BTW it looks siick
  18. thanks man. I was talking about the whole crook sueing if he got cut while stealing my sh*t topic with my and I might just be uninstalling them. It is true though I could get in A LOT of trouble. I guess boobytraping(sp) is against the law. Say I got pulled over for whatever reason and the cops wanted to look through my rig and they got cut oh man would I be in some deep shit. I have the amprack bolted down with 4 bolts through the foor and my amps bolted down to the rack so they are pretty secure. I guess I just don't want to risk my shit gettin stolen. On another note a part of me doesn't care about the risk of being sued. I would love for a thief to get his wrists cut while trying to rob my shit and bleed out on the side of my truck, so I could go out and spit on him in the morning then drive to work knowing my stuff is still there. Its just one less parasite feeding off what we work hard for:angry: I fuckin hate thieves
