  2. Powermaster, Iraggi, Mechman, DB Electrical, Excessive Amperage, plenty of choices But yea, the bigger the better, or the more the merrier, or a combination of the two
  3. thats always been a problem for dime owners it seems, luckily with the two dimes ive lowered, ive just been able to shimmy the bolt around enough to get in under the gas tank without removing it,,, although, i did help the tank a little bit with a floor jack
  4. in my experience, the police probably wont pull your over just for dark tint, you would have to be doing something else illegal for them to get you. Like on my old Exploder, i had ~1.75% tint, a layer of 35 then a layer of 5, i never got a second glance from the cops, but my buddy had 5% on his car and he rolled through a stop sign infront of a cop and they got him for both.
  5. ive been thinking really hard about this tonite, but ive decided to stick with my current job, the extra pay will just get eat up in gas money, and thats another hour out of my day just in the driving,, thanks for all the advice guys, its greatly appreciated

  7. I really like my new job, but i think min.. wage is 6.25 now, i think
  8. Thats another thing, back last Sept. when i started, i was at 7 an hour, then at my 90 day eval. i got a 2% raise, bringing me to 7.14, and i just got another promotion which was a 4% raise, now im at 7.42 an hour, and im hoping my manager can get me another 2 or 3 % at my one year eval At the job offer, they have yearly evals. theirs is in March, and their biggest raise is a quarter so,, money wise, it can kinda go either way
  9. thats what i was thinking, i mean i just got a promotion and the raise, and my one year evaluation is in the next couple weeks, the other company was kinda sorta begging me to start working for them. but dam,, almost an hour of driving a day, thats time i could be working on my system so i can do a :hairtrick: ,, NOT
  10. Well, i just got offered a job, doing the same thing pretty much but a little more laidback, still in autoparts, but this one is working out of a warehouse, very little walk-in customers, mainly commercial companies are delt with there. They said id start at $8.25 an hour, big bucks lol , but its a good 12 mile drive each way so. 12 miles aint that bad, but its right next to the busiest (sp) shopping center in the area, and it pretty much constantly packed with traffic. Im makin 7.42 an hour now working at O'Reillys and i can get to the store in 5 minutes from my house, a 2 mile drive. Good hours, pretty easy going, but the managers can be bitches, no the store managers but like our regional managers can give you the run around for months on end. O yea, the new truck, gets decent mileage bout 18-20 highway, which is what the new job would be driving there and back. Its a toss-up for me really, people are telling me yes and others no. Any suggestions or advice?
  11. I got a kick out of this one http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/nfk/485865778.html EDIT: sorry to thread jack btw

  14. Ive been told that they can be any color that you wish, as long as they are not flashing, because that would be impersonating a police car or ambulance etc.. pretty much, just dont have them dancing to music while your rollin down the road and you should be good
  15. For our trucks, and any fuel injected car really a throttle body spacer is no more useful than a paper weight, it wont make a difference unless the fuel and air are mixed before it goes into the intake manifold, i.e. a carborator, (sp) EDIT:you can run a cleanable airfilter, it just doesnt hurt to clean it and re oil it when you buy it b4 you put it on, they can/will come over-oiled from the factory. I actually just bought a AEM filter that doesnt take oil, it just has to be cleaned regularly like any other filter would have to be
