  6. just noticed my amps in protect....I reinserted both the power wire and remote wire and it keeps going right to protect about a second after startup
  7. I have two pac lc-1s ...one for the 4 channel and one for the sub amp..
  8. Amp is a hifonics bxi2607d...and I took a pair of leads outta the 4 channel and ran it into the amp and the subs still wouldn't move...
  9. it lights up...and I don't see any fuses on the outside of the amp
  10. no I mean I don't have bad voltage drop..I stay above 12.7... everythings wired correctly sub leads are all good...I'm guessing at this point its the amp...I mean idk what else to assume..Even though I've never played it clipped, and have ran it at 1 ohm for quite a while...I don't even play em full tilt for more than 2minutes...
  11. dmm on ac voltage, and on the output of the amp would be what i would say.if you get a reading while you have something playing, you have a signal fromthe amp. that doesnt say how good the signal is, just shows that the amp is putting out edit: ninjd dmm wasnt reading anything out of the amp speaker outputs >
  12. is there a way to check and see if my amp is putting out to the sub wires?
  13. rcas are getting voltage both with and without the knob so rcas arent the problem...
  14. noope and alright doin that right now
  15. yea I had music playing....alls I do is put the negative prong to the outer shield and the positive prong to the inner pin right?
  16. Just finished putting some finishing trim on the wall in my charger and I go to take a final video, so I put the volume on low and my rca level knob was at about 2/5...Everything was working fine...Subs were playing amp was on all normal etc...So then I restart the song and turn the volume up and turn my rca level knob all the way (so full tilt) for my video..Bass hits...plays for about 5 seconds then cuts out COMPLETELY...to avoid suggestions of solutions that I already have done heres a list of what I have done 1. Checked amp is getting power and made sure voltage is the same before and after fuse 2. Checked subs...All connections are intact and final load reads 1 ohm 3. ATTEMPTED to check rcas with dmm...I put the negative to the outer shield and the positive on the inner pin read nothing.... Did it too the other rcas to my 4 channel and they also did nothing so I may have been doing something wrong?
