      $520 got me a 340a alt from mechman with the AVBM.. singer should be way cheaper.

      Who have you contacted? I got a better rate for a better alt from Mechman compared to Singer. And his 'lifetime' warranty?.... Well I'll leave that for the people who have had their own problems with that.
