      1/4" spiral upcut or downcut. Depending which way you want the dust flying. If you aren't going through the entire sheet in the first pass I'd use upcut or else it would compact the dust.

      Check out bits made by Amana on Amazon quality bits. You need a 1/2 shaft with 2 inch carbide. P
