  1. No, hes not asking whether 1500 and 2000 watts are different. Hes asking whether the extra 500 watts will make a difference. ooo let me think . . . . yes...... i dont care if its audible or not.. your subs are taking more of beating on 2k its a fkn difference op
  2. you're asking if 1500 watts is different than 2000 watts? wtf man is 1500 different than 2000? yes
  3. That post is inherently oxymoronish. you're so smart its a stupid post its like saying is 2 different than 3? drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr theyre fkn different
  4. the reason i didnt specify is because i could care less right now lol just want to see what people are selling

  7. LOL at first i thought it was 2 T2s vs 1 level 5..but now i realize its a straight up vs. wow
  8. DC 5 no vs threads though on this forum. So rephrase your question INB4L
  9. im going to tomorrow when i take my box out to round over the edges.
  10. probably, i can live with it for now. once i get money, im putting in a good 4 channel and all new door speakers problem solved just hope for now it holds up because my subs are going in beginning of next week.
  11. it worked for a day without distortion, factory amp, pioneer deck then i slid my tight fitting box in and after i turned the car on it distorted to hell. so i faded the mids/highs to the front, and its gone now. So maybe i squeezed a wire? either that or it was a coincidence that the factory amp took a shit? oh well once i get an aftermarket one it will be gone.
  12. yea its not bose, but all the speakers are 4 ohm , except the doors, which are 2 ohm, probably so that the resistance in them is lower making them louder?
  13. well what i could do is when i get an aftermarket 4 channel i would run 12 gauge wire that would be spliced at the back of the pioneer HU and run them all to the back to avoid any issue with the stock wiring. that should work right?
  14. so it would have to be a stock wire or stock ground though correct? Since that is the only active wiring. and running them all form the speakers to the back of the HU would be a serious pain. My plan was to run my 4 channel from the plug in the back that has all the speakers wired to it.. it would be so much easier this way. My doors have molex plugs that are impossible to modify. wondering if i wired it like that if the problem would persist since it has to be a stock wiring issue. Obviously the aftermarket amp wwould have a new ground and power wire, along with a remote wire. By grounding out he means that a stock speaker wire is cut and touching bare metal at some point between the HU and the speaker. To fix that you'd have to trace the wires all the way back and make sure. You could also try flipping the front and rear speaker wires behind the radio and seeing if the noise switches to the front speakers. If it does, there may be a problem with the head unit. not the HU, i put the stock one back in, and the same problem was there

  16. yea im trying to get an aftermarket one, how would i go about running these with no amp? all the speakers are wired to the back of my pioneer already. its just how do i now delete the amp and still get them to run?
  17. Preferably a Digital Desgisns or Rockford Fosgate
  18. So i have my pioneer deck installed and the stock speakers are there, and a factory amp. I randomly turned my mids/highs on and it distorts at mid volume. No warning of something blowing, just right on a cold start? SO i then fade my deck setting to the front 100% and its 100% gone. If i fade to the back 100% it sounds 100% like ass. What could this be? Factory amp sending a bad signal to the rear for some reason? Opened up the amp and it looked fine, nothing broke or burnt. WTF?
  19. yea i noticed that thought at first that quantity was by foot not strand
  20. also why is it cheaper for more? lol edit: nvm quantity is per 100 ft run damn 100 ft for 18$???!?! sooo sick
