So i want to finish my box, its made of mdf and i have a few questions. I want the box to just be painted black, nothing more complicated than that, 1) what primer should i use 2) what paint? 3) how much time between coats and how many coats of primer and paint 4) spray paint or no? Thanks!

yea 400 isnt too bad, shit id spend 500 on making the box, and making it look "pretty" edit when i say box, i mean everything to make the wall.

So ill be building the box in the car...obviously. First step is bolt the floor to the frame of the car then put in the walls then the roof, then the face plate. Next or before face plate is to fiber glass the inside and silicon the edges in the box. Then spray the foam around the edges of the box to seal off the wall. My question is do i just spay the foam, and it will bond the box to the ceiling/side panels in my car? After this i just add trim panels to make it look pretty. Am i right here?

yea im going to be using DAMP Pro, and obviously put it on the metal, then just put this foam thing back over it. also is 13 sq ft enough to do 2 doors? Also, how much would i need to do the back of my hatch 2-3 times? its not really that big of an area

i would put it on the metal, then put the layer of foam back over it, it has to be there for a reason..

So is there a special spray i need to use on the metal before applying? Also, my doors have a thin layer of foam that covers the bare metal of the door frame, is it ok to keep it there? or should i remove it.

^ man someone's tough, Your logic is flawed, yes you asked a question, i answered it by saying dont wall it. you need mad experience to do this, if you spend enough time doing builds you'll learn this on your own.
