  1. RE recommends 34hz and 4 cubes for optimal or 35hz 3 cubes it looks like i can give them about 3.25 cubes at most after displacement. What frequency should i tune these to if it's a daily driver in which i want the lows to slap pretty good. subs will be up double .75 baffle 2 common walls port middle back hatch the hatch has like a cover over the trunk which i want to keep over my trunk since it hides my equipment. so my max height is 17, and it might be lower now with the sub excursion. max width is 36.5, and max depth is gonna be 26-27 and that is generous. I'd be lucky to get 12-13 sq inches of port area.
  2. oh hell yea they're the king, 2500 rms @ 14.4 and it does it for 3 seconds to pass the test then it puts out 600 rms @14.4.
  3. this is how one of two front channels would look then? crossovers wired together, then one gets wired to the amp. And currently one is wired to the amp so i can tag the new one into the old one?
  4. so i have to run a pos and neg wire from the front 2 channels of the amp to the new crossover to make this work? can i just some how tag the speakers together or maybe the crossovers? it would be way easier to just tag them at the doors ya know?
  5. is this correct? the amp can handle 2 ohms, i assume all the speakers are 4 ohms all pioneer D series. the deck is already wired in and so are the 6x9's and 5.25 with one set of tweets. now i want to add that second set of components. but is that the correct way of doing it? i definitely do not want to run another wire from the new set to the amp, so i tagged it into the existing 5.25's have i made an mistakes thanks in advance!
  6. the hifonics 2010d "2000 rms" "cea" certified amp, has nothing on the Rockford T "1500". plan and simple, and all you have to do is spend an extra 150 or so, but its an investment. Im not saying the hifonics is bad, but in my case with the experience ive had, its worth the extra money. But hifonics for the money is still pretty good, just not as "clean" if you ask me.
  7. if i were you i would drop the "team" part from your name, sounds way more legit. but thats just my 3 cents
  8. Then this is just a stupid thread, Go on and get a rockford. Or stop being so biased and try some new shit out. You never know you might like other brands but you have to be open to try out new things. tired a hifonics, tried a crunch,..need i go on? Im sorry some ppl may not want to spend the extra money but its so worth it. gotta stay with amps that i know are trust worthy, like rockford or kicker. not biased if ive given those amps a chance..
  9. yea i dont buy any BS amp brands, rockford or bust for me!
  10. im always skeptical about maxxsonics.
  11. no doubt, i currently have the pioneer GMF 4300, trying to ditch it,, all my mids and high blew, lol, hence why im getting a DD-1
  12. yea ill def consider it, going to run 2 sets of pioneer TSd components on the front 2 channels and one pioneer d 6x9 on each back channel.
  13. it just seems to cheap for 1000rms. no way it actually puts out that power, plus even if it does, i dont want that much from my mids and highs amp considering its tough enough to run my T1500bdcp
  14. how good is the rockford p400.4 for the money? its like 165 shipped.. trying to match equipment as much as possible, all rockford amps.
  15. wow that amp has alot of power, seems weird its only like $160
  16. In need of a nice 4 channel amp, will spend at most $200 will have a 100rm speaker on both back channels and 2 50 rms speakers on both front channels
  17. yea ill prob end up just doing a new box for them. What should I tune it to? im currently at 36 hz, should i tune it way lower if im trying to slap the lows? RE recommends 35 hz each in 4 cubes.
  18. what do you think about the 4 skar's idea? pointless compared to what i have or what?
  19. car needs to be put up on a lift, dont have a lift.
