I wasn't questioning the amplifiers ability to handle .5 ohm. I was questioning his electrical to supply enough current for the amp at .5 ohm due to his alternator being on the small side my alts on the small side?? last time i checked i got the highest amp available but i bought it about a half a year ago its a dc xp370

with the addition of mids/ high amps! 2 RF amps putting 150 RMS to each component is 600 each amp so double would be 1200 plus 7500. and i rounded up for safety

So i finally got my alt and it's back to saving up for some DC products! So ive decided im going to go with two Level 5's powered at 1ohm to a 7.5K amp. Total watts rms rounded up will be around 9K. So the Alt's pushing 220 amps at idle and im going XS Power D31 batts. Ill be sticking two up front and 6 in the back. Do you guys think this will be enough? or will i need more bats or even a second alt?

Get yourself one hell of an electrical system to back it up. so with a nice electrical system it can run at .5 easily??? cuz if is like that I'm in 4 alts and 15 batts? jk idk how much you would need but for .5 ohm holy shit thats alot of power!!!

im thinking one died and it drained the other. alternator works fine and after he charged the batts it started right up but the thing is it keeps doing it its really weird. but also the guy that did his install was an idiot so i wouldnt be surprised if he did something wrong lol

good pic dude but i have a question. my uncle had two agm batteries in his Volkswagen (optima yellowtops) and at first everything was good but after a month or two his car wouldnt start both batts were dead. he thinks they were draining each other?? could this happen?

ooh ok thats a pretty good idea. i had a friend that made one a couple years ago on around the same year as mine and he cut a hole in the tailgate and welded a bar in that spot so the latch he had on the cover would hook on and lock. hes currently locked up tho and truck totalled lol
