why port up? I was told once by a dealer (I Know) to always keep the port on the same surface as the driver

yeah sounds good i ripped my AC out but its cuz it didnt work anyway. plus all the lines were in my way when i was working on it so i got the hack saw out lol.

right I've seen all different years and no 2 I've seen have been the same back there. the 91's i believe have a bigger area for the T-Tops and my year has a leather bag (i took it out) that straps down and the folding is just extra space. I have no experience with fiberglass I replaced block last year tryin to keep it stock. ...i should of gone bigger though it only runs high 14's

well its starting to get warm where I live and I've been waiting a while to do this. I'm taking my 1985 Pontiac Trans Am and restoring some of the body and repainting. its going to my cousin's house this week to begin sanding and restoring. its going be painted prismtike (not sure on spelling) black with a copper flaked clear coat. Also reinstalling and updating my system: 2 Alpine MRD 1005's 2 Pioneer ts-w3001d4 deka battery (not sure on model yet) 0 guage big 3 wall like enclosure (still needs to be designed) here are some before pics:
