when ur runnin ur tweets active are u still useing the amps hpf or u got it set to fullrange? and if ur mids are at -12db ied like to see em at 0db lol, my pioneer will run active n i was thinkin bout tryin it n see were i get wit my hifonics 4406 i was gunna take the wires off my rear coax n unhook the tweet from its lil cap on the basket n run some speaker wire from it to the front on the amp n run wire from the mid to the rear n just run the front comps the same, it should work being that there the same series n about the same specs too so should jam i think how hard is it to get bandpass set right cause i got a 12v rectifier that converts 120 to 12vdc and i had a 4ch of mine hooked up n a 3way xover n was playin around wit the active style setup to see how it would sound in my room n couldn't get the freq's just right to blend as good as they would just regular fullrange and if i was to run my 8's as midbass off the mids active side could i just use a y splitter n work off the hpf? and when u did ur tuneing did u adjust tweets first or mids? i want to see how loud these will get n dnt want to mess anything up

doing the big 3 will help also, n ive been wondering bout re subs myself, i might try out a few n see were they get me, n does the polyfill work good with those subs? n have u tryed em without teh polyfill to see if they sounded better? why im asking is because every sealed box ive built em big enough to work with the subs than try polyfill anyways build looks good n ied just carpet the box to match n prolly put some led strips under the amp rack to light it up a lil bit back there, maby run em off ur remote wire so when ur amp turns on they will turn on, they dnt take much power to run so u should be fine there, but u could easily get a relay kit off ebay for around $5 n work off of that tho

well my stock 70amp alt is ok but i need something bigger so when i get the money flowing again i can really upgrade n put some real power in the taco so were my question comes in is i need a pritty good high output alt for as cheap as i can get one, i dnt want 300amps n what knot just something around 160-200amp range or somethin i can upgrade from this stock alt, i kno the big 3 makes a diff but wit 70amp alt and big three when i try to jump a car off around the house i can hear the engin wine down even when i got the motor revved so i need to replace this one with a better one i dont have that much money to put into an alt but as cheap as i can get one for around 150-200 amps will do, my stock one aint but 70 n i thought it was 140 but i guessed wrong when i finally do upgrade im goin to a better set of 15's and around 2000-3000watts rms, maby 2 dc level 4xl 15's and a sundown 3000d n a few batteries should do it, when i do get money im gunna do a damn good system this time instead of weak shit like i got now, im gunna build another box for my 15's for time being but i need a higher output alt than 70amps, hell my geos alt is 75amp at idle so i unno ived tryed to search but i dnt kno good alt places, theres an alt place here in town that i could prolly have my stock alt rebuilt and made to do around 150-160amps but that would prolly cost to much ive got a quote for a 200amp alt to be around $300, i dunno how much this will make of a difference but being that my sub amp has 120amps worth of fuseing n 4ch have 50amps it should be enough to run my system without the back battery but i unno so what kinda ideas u got fellas? i already got the big 3 in 0guage, in general it should be a big 4, alt pos to battery pos, battery ground to chassis, engin to chassis, and engin to battery neg

haha, try 220 next! lol, take a 120v lead(red) to the 12v pos, and a 120 lead(black) to remote, and a common or white to ground n see what it would do OUTSIDE hmm, i wonder if it still works or not? and sence an amp is basicly a power converter that just regulates the hertz output to make music i wonder if it turned it into a ac to dc output than like regular with dc in and ac out? would be cool shit if it worked hooked up like that, did any lights come on? and if ur just tryin to fuk it up i'll buy it for $20 pay pal ready if it still works

i get payed to go to school and i get payed for gas goin to n from school, i got layed off from work so now im goin back to school for another trade so i can work on hvac systems at the beach, my teachers buddy spends 2weeks every year at the beach, first week he works n the second he's on vacation, he gets payed around $4,000 the week he works so it aint that bad really workin steady costantly pritty much close to 24hrs a day 7days a week for around $16 an hr starting wage and up to $40-$60 an hr full time, i cant wait till i get my license, i can go to work now that im in level 2 but i want to learn more hands on stuff befor i get my hands dirty again i miss hard work, 40-55hrs a week at a furniture factory got me broke in for around 5yrs n being off for a year is a bitch, i was useto gettin up at 5am n goin to work n soemtimes workin from 3:15, 5:15 and 7:15, 12hrs sucked ass but jobs tend to do that trust me fellas, do the best u can in highschool cause u are what u make of urself's, i wished i would have tryed harder but then again i wouldn't be were i am today if it wasnt for it but i like hands on type work, the hell with book work type stuff, put me in the field

every pioneer ive gotten has been premier unless its some used ones i just needed for a short period of time, every premier ive had were tough as nails, i still got my pioneer premier 680 and it still works good, but i love my premier 860, thing has the same features of the new 800 series one but not as many ent things, i checked pioneer's website n the one i got sold for $570 n i got it for around $250 witch aint bad for a good deck, im gunna run it 3way active when it gets warmer, its got so many damn adjustments im still finding things imo i think premiers are alot better cause its like a step up of the regular deck, i look at it this way, u can get regular pioneers at walmart but only premiers at select audio shops n websites, so its not really mainstreamed that much but i think they got higher preouts n alot more eq adjustments too heres the decks i got, http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Pro...EH-P860MP?tab=B and http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Pro...yers/DEH-P680MP ied go wit the premier

hmm, i think i got mine in my truck set to around 80 and the decks sub freq to 65htz@ 12db/oct slope, i liked it better on 18db/oct for rap but in general 12db/oct sounded better ied stick wit 80 but it depends on what u got ur box tuned to if its ported too, i could turn my lpf all the way up n down n tell no diff when i had my ported box in the truck, but wit my sealed box i got my ssf(sub sonic filter) turned to 20, and my lpf to 80 and bout half gain n it sounds pritty good on everything hope this helps, hell im still tweeking on my system tryin to dial it in perfect but i'll just play around with it for now till i go full active n then is when the fun starts lol i spend about 2hrs or so just playin aroud wit settings on my amps n deck tryin to fine tune everything cause i aint got a oscope to help wit it, if u have a higher quality deck with a multi band eq to mess wit ied try moveing soem settings around n see if that helps, it did on mine, but keep ur sla turned to 0 if u have one

i wanna see someone blow a 200+ amp fuse on purpose just to see if it will acually blow, cause when my buddy was takeing shit out of one of my friends cars they was a 4 or 0guage wire just layin down in the trunk tub with no tape or anything on the end with bare wire sticking out n it still hooked up, n when he went to look under the hood the 150amp fuse was glowing red but didn't blow so this brings me to the point of, i wanna see if these huge ass fuses will acually blow if they had to, can someone wit shit ton of batteries hook up a lil circuit of 0guage or somethin n ground it out n see if u can get a fuse to blow, cause the 300amp fuses are as thick as some welding rod n i just wanna see how acuratly raited like will a 250amp fuse blow at 251 amps? i mean im not doubting them to blow but i want to make sure they will acually blow if somethin bad happined cause all of these ppl sayin fuse this n fuse that but this makes me think, ok i have 2 batteries and a run of 0guage from front to back and a knu 250amp fuse up front but nothing in the back and this is why, ok if i added another 250amp fuse back there wont this make my main line fused @500amps? this makes me think cause i took electrical in highschool n i kno theres a big diff on how the amps work from a residential home vs in a car audio setup but i want to get this str8 that cant u have to much fusing and without the right amount of amps flowing threw the wire to blow it from a short wont it ketch fire befor blowing a fuse? this aint a rant but i want to kno without a shadow of a doubt that a higher amp fuse will blow when it needs to, cause without enough backfeed in amps cause it to keep arking instead of blowing? i would try this but i dont have enough power in amps to acually blow a fuse witch leads to the post i just made^ this post was tward him asking how to fuse his back battery so it is on topic

ive ran there 4guage kit n it seemed to work out fine to me, ran my mtx500d perfect, n wit a cap my voltage with headlights and high beams on and at full tilt in my 93 accord stayed at 14.3v so it aint bad at all, n pritty flexable too mine was a blue kit tho, wished i could find there 0guage kit in blue too
