u get pritty good midbass off ur polk db's? i got a set of 6500 6&1/2 comps the white ones, n a set of 651 6&1/2 coax the broze ones, got em for a hell of a deal to i wanna put em in my truck but i unno how well they will sound in there tho

haha, car audio is worse than meth about the addictions every sence i hurd music n figured out were it came from ive been hooked, i think ive been playin with audio in general for about 13yrs n i love it, i think its the part of hooking things up n watching them work n enjoying it is the big thing, i love gettin behind some punk kids with there cheap stuff n i just play midbass n there like then i turn the subs on n doors start moveing n shit only on vol 10 lol, i love bass i guess that were on the subject when u set a amp by ear (i dnt own a o-scope but ill get one sometime) do u want subs to kinda sorta peak in bass at a higher volume? my headunit only goes to 40 but its more of a sq deck with 6.5v preouts so i dnt really need 62 levels of volume for it to get loud, but its hard to set amps by ear o meter cause some songs are louder than others, but then theres mids n highs, midbass, then subs why im asking this is on some songs the lil bulbs on my xovers like to light up a lil, i unno if its cause of the power im feedin em or wut, my amp does 150rms @2ohm n they get hella loud but i unno if i can turn the amp up anymore, i got front rcas set to -10gain, -12db/oct, 160htz and i unno wut to do with midbass, there ran from rear rcs, my headunit can run all active but i dnt have enough good amps to do it with, but i want it to get to its limits and still sound good oh, and if ur gunna run active with a comp set n coax's would u disconect the tweet part from the coax n wire that tweet with comp set tweet to a amp n then both mids to a amp? n if im runnin 8's as midbass how would i setup an eq to work with 6&1/2's and 8's? my headunit will do the same thing a rf 360 will but i unno how to do it with amps haha see how this shit is addiciting? :tease: is it bad when ur dreaming about hookin stuff up? :01nocomment8so:

is ur flip out built in or does it have a seperate brain box u halfto hook wires to? if its all built in, were u plug the black plug into the headunit theres a fuse right beind it, theres usally a extra piece of plastic on the plug to cover it up, i think there around 10amp fuses, there mini blade fuses, but u can pick up a test light at walmart for around $5-$10 and it comes in handy alot to to check the wires n what knot yellow = 12v pos red = 12v acc(turn on) black = ground orange = light (it lights up the front when headunit is off when ur headlights or parking lights are on) and a easy access to wire interior lights to light up when parking lights are on blue = remote wire (turns on when headunit is on anything for amp's) blue/white = fm electric antenna turn on(made to make the antenna go up when its on fm or any radio station but not when a cd is in playing) n then theres speaker wires but they tell what they do on them white = FL + white/black = FL - gray = FR + gray = FR - i think purple = RL + purple/black = RL - green = RR + green/black = RR - i unno bout the rears are left or right but they tell what they are on em but did u check in the kick pannel fuses if any are blown? should be a 10amp fuse, maby 15amp or under hood nere battery should be a small fuse box with fuses in em make sure when u check fuses that the switch is set to acc for it to show witch one is blown and they may look good but can be blown

any of that forsale? ied like to have those 5500 8's, and maby try out some of those squares or somethin i got a set of 5500 1544's n they would match pritty good, but i was gunna use mine as midbass n how much u want for that 9500 1544? ive always wanted to have one of those, my buddy did one ina ported box tuned to 36-38htz with 2 mtx 962(i think thats the model number) older mtx amps to it in one of those old crystler cars n his vizors were flappin like hell i love mtx stuff, pm me some prices on some of it, its hard to find some older stuff how u like those squares?

i got a question, when ur runnin that 360 to the mids n highs amps do u set the amps to flat or do u still use the eq settings on the amps to? n in that vid are those re mids?

as much as u use zip ties if u dont have one get one of these, they have a setting on em how ever tight u want em to be, n u just put em behind the zip tie n pull n when it gets as tight as u want it it will cut the end off, i use mine every time i use zip ties edit: and im glad u started makein this how to videos n what knot, takes a lil longer to do but gives us a chance to see how to do it, n another way to do it if there's not one

hmm, wished i could get a bigger box in my car n ied put 2 15's in it but damn thing's to small for anything i had 1 mtx 5500 1544 off a 300w amp n my 6&1/2's midbass in my truck was louder hmm cant do anything with no room but i guess if i sized down woofers maby might get somewere i had a set of mtx 4000 10's that was pritty loud on a 400w 4ch bridged, i unno, loudest system i had in my car was 2 rockford fosgate punch he2 12's on a mtx 500d 2ohm stable amp @ 1ohm, that shit god loud man, n i want somethin like that sence u pritty much got ported boxs down pat, i got about 6 4''x5'' ports n was wondering if i could throw 1 or 2 in a sealed box thats 16''x16''x15'' its made for a 15 n its pritty much shit n if it dont sound good i can just nail a board over the holes n be sealed again so its no biggie the tubes look somethin like this or somethin like that, they'er out of a old bandpass box i got that i dnt use due to a set of audiobahn 12's blowin it all to shit on the inside,(cheap bandpass boxs ftmfl) they put 2 pieces of 1/8-1/4'' partical board n glued it together were the subs mount, i tryed screwing it in to make a tighter fit but got nowere

haha, have rusty make u some Lvl4xl 8's i seen my first dd1508 in real life a month ago n for the output it does and how much power it can take, its worth every penny
