remote wires dont have as much current flowing as 1/0awg does, its only got maby .5-1.0 amps flowing threw it, its just enulf to tell it to cut on, will not make more power, or make it run more efficent with larger remote wire, kinda why on the back of the headunit u got the yellow thats like 12awg, ground thats like 12awg, red thats like 16awg and remote thats like 16-18, no need for bigger wires for only a small job, some amps that have high level inputs use the jolt or w/e the headunit gives it when it turns on to turn on the amp, they just need that lil bit of power to close the circuit to turn it on, hope that helps u out?

lol, the left mids of my kicker ks comps is cracked like that, and the right rear coax is cracked like that, i dont kno how the hell it happined but they still play great, and those polk db series are merine certified, i got the older db6500's in my doors of the geo and they sound killer man, and the coax's that match those comps u got perfect in the back, anyways hope all goes will wit u fixin em, and good luck with air force mane

did u ground ur rcs at the headunit? my pioneer 680 started that whineing bullshit but after a lil rca grounding it worked for me, and i have no prob at all with my pioneer premire 860 i got now, 6.5v rca outputs ftmfw! and im runnin stinger rcas the blue kind with aluminum foil lookin shit on the inside to subs, and kicker 4ch rcas to mids n highs amp and midbass amp, works perfect for me:)

n not to sound liek an ass but my logitech 5.1 sounds killer for $80 and has some great beat to it and gets really loud to, but experimenting is koo to i do it myself lol

not to put u down but wont the magnetic interference with the monitor cause it to take a shit? when i had a set of 15's in the floor hardly close to my tv it started gettin blurry, i unno bout the new'er tv's/monitors but ied atleast get a set of "shelded" highs that are gunna be close to monitor so it wont fuk up on u, and for subs ied do a sealed downfire box, worked best for me, and does get really loud, make it about 3'' from floor and ur good to go
