  1. Another question: So if my cars freq is around 41 and this is giving me my best scores yet, why do a lot of people compete in the high 70's? Isn't that fighting against the cars freq?
  2. I am not going back to two ports. Rf spec is two 4" each. If any thing I want to try adding one more port making it 5 total. I am not sure what you mean about getting a ballpark idea.
  3. when the box was tuned to 40Hz, i only had two 4" ports. Now i have four 4" ports in it. There is no way of telling which freq is going to be better until i try it.
  4. I was thinking the same about the car resonant frequency, but also whats gonna happen if i tune the box back to 40Hz. In this thread i am using my RF T10001bd. An the car is an 06 but whose counting...lol Later
  5. I went from a 5.1 cube box with two 4” internal aero ports tuned to 40 Hz peaking at 41 Hz (144.2 db on the dash) To a 5.1 cube box with four 4” internal aero ports tuned to 36 Hz peaking at 41Hz (145.0 db on the dash) To a 5.6 cube box with four 4” external aero ports tuned to 35 Hz peaking at 41 and 42. (145.4 db on the dash) Question 1 How is this possible that I am still peaking at 41 Hz when the tuning of the box has changed? Question 2 Why am I peaking at 41Hz and 42Hz? Later
  6. after looking and checking two four inch port might be a bit much. edit: when i was looking up the port info i looked at the t1 12. two 4 inch ports are correct.
  7. sorry dude. i was thinking you had two subs but i see you only got one. you should try to stay away from slot ports in a small box. see about getting some areo ports, they are only 10 to 12 dollars each. you don't need any more port area then that. do you have the sub ran at 1 ohm? if you are just after spl, you need a small box. if you want some good lows built a big box. try do build a cheap box just for testing. try to make it as square as possible. try sub and port on the same side. move the box in all directions when testing(placement of box makes a difference. point the sub back,up,forward. then cover the port and put them on the side of the box. move it all around etc.
  8. I am hitting a 145.4 on the dash 146.9 in the kick with 2 T115D4's and a single T10001bd. Got them in a 5.6 cube box, subs up ports forward. Got four 4" externel areo ports. Tuned to 35 Hz peaking at 41. All stock electrical with no extra batteries and 2/0 wire (not 2 gauge).
  9. i believe that some cars need to breath. for example, if someone holds the back of my trunk i lose 1 db. i have also heard sound deadening is hit or miss
  10. sketch looks alright might meter as good as some t1 15's one of your friends has
  11. what do you mean you didn't have enough power?
  12. so it my math is right thats 150 times 4 equal 600 plus shipping hmmm i know this isn't lets make a deal but... is that the best you can do?
  13. As you can see I am new to this forum..So my question is everytime i say i hit so an so number i need to post a pic? Is that the way it works here or are you just pulling my leg?
  14. Is there anyone competing with RF T1 subs? If so how many, what size, how much power, etc. I compete with two T115d4 with a T10001bd amp hitting a best score of 145.4 on the dash 146.9 by the kick in a 5.6 cube box with four external aero ports. Later
