  1. just an fyi, you can go to ficaraudio.com and they have the entire list of their speakers, prices, options, the cost of options, and you order on their web site. simple as that. the regular 15" q costs 279 and handles 1000rms. 319 with the only option that is offered for the q and that is the bp option. now the sub holds 1200-1500rms depending on the application. I have a true 1000 watts rms to each. And it is a class a/b amp. Very accurate!! like I said before. handled the double bass of lamb of god incredibly. I will put a vid up soon. hopefully be able to get one tomorrow.
  2. 319 per sub, that is with the bp option. 2 subs. 638-shipped. Never got an email with a confirmation number though. They just showed up. It was like F-N christmas!!!!!
  3. when? no earlier than sunday, and no later than august 31st. LOL!!!!
  4. not tonight mane. Forgot the camera when I went for a cruise and it's too late. Soon though. Soon. You know whats crazy too, I couldn't even listen to it with the windows down cause I just got the driver and passenger windows retinted. Can't roll them down for a minute. oh well. The wait is getting to me though!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! LOL!!!
  5. man, these subs are ridiculous!!!! They are so tight compared to the koves and just as loud. I listened to some heavy stuff like killswitch engage and lamb of god, and these speakers kept right up. No lag or mixed beats of the double bass or anything. They play low too. Played jibbs, king kong. my steering wheel and column probably don't like it though!!! Insane and accurate. Like I told footlong, thats all I gotta say.
  6. Pics of the 15" fi q's I got in today. Basically only took pics of one of them next to the kove armageddon I just removed. It's amazing. The kove is 10 years old, and back in the day, that was kove's hardcore spl sub. The q-sound quality sub, has the same diameter slugs double stacked just like the kove and is rated at more power rms than the kove. It's amazing what is capable over time and learning. Anyways, enjoy!!!
  7. for a year now I have wanted some gear!! Now I got some comin to me. Placed my order. Can't wait to rep smd in topeka on sept 13th. thanks meade. Peace!!!!
  8. grassy ass me amigo. sweet. thx to you too mane.
  9. bump for my last post and the guy above me^^^^
  10. ok, anyone know what the best polyfill is and where to get some? would it hurt the guys situation above this post^^^? and 1pound per cube at gross or net airspace? thx!!!
  11. ok, thank you very much, anyone know the "best" poly, or where to get some?
  12. skunks remind me of the that green leafy stuff. But those were the old days. No bueno anymore.
  13. O.k. I ordered 2 fi 15" q's with the bp option. I have two 2.25 cube enclosures already and need to know if it would be better for me to polyfill them. The subs call for 2-2.6cubes sealed, and after displacement they will have 2.06cubes. Would polyfilling the enclosures give me deeper bass extension? Also, would it make my numbers on the tl drop versus leaving the polyfill out? When it comes down to it, whichever way sounds better is what matters to me. If anyone has any info on this, please help. thanks!!!
  14. the noise wasn't there before he added his engine to chassis ground. He had the other two of the big 3 done already. Once he hooked that third up, the noise showed up. Does that mean it is that ground point? Or could it have made a different ground point vulnerable to noise inductance for some reason?
  15. ^^^^ You are a trip roscoe. Funny as hell. Anyways, I have the pioneer, and I personally did try grounding the rca's. didn't work. have not tried grounding the head unit to a different spot, will try that when I re-route the rca's. Didn't think about grounding the headunit elsewhere. thx.
  16. You could try grounding it somewhere else, but from what I understand, it shouldn't induce noise into the system. But the noise wasn't there before, so either make sure it is a clean connection, or ground elsewhere.
  17. yeah, me. don't know exactly when it came about because I had the guys at max speed and sound install all my shite at once. But it was after they did the big3, put the 2000 watt amp in, and the second battery and the 2 15's. LOL!!!! Did you grind or sand away the paint to make a very clean connection? I don't think mine is cause of the ground loop. My power cables and my rca's are ran on the same side of the vehicle. I need to move the rca's to the other side of the vehicle and say f*ck the pioneer(shitty pioneer) and get me an excelon. I think that is my problem. And if not, I will go "huntin".
  18. no problem man!! and I sent you a pm about the 15's Ah-ahole-em. LOL!! JK!! anyways, thank you for giving me a demo of the system with the vents in. Keep it up man. Like I said. Very ambitious, much props!!!
  19. Anyone know how long it usually takes the guys to build and ship out subs? I know it all depends on their work load and all, and I am not trying to be an impatient prick. Just wondering if anyone knows the lowdown from their own experiences. thx. Didn't want to bother anyone with emails, and not worried about the orders or anything, just trying to get a ball park idea of what to expect.
