  1. alright thanks man, and yeah i really need to invest in a h/o alt haha....but now that i think of it when im playing full tilt, the meter will drop into the 12s and it takes a minute to come back to normal after im done playing for long periods of time. you sure its just the alt its monitoring? Yeah they do wonders for sure, lol. Im not exactly sure if it is connected to the Alt, or somewhere along there, I may have just read wrong on that, But still regardless i wouldn't trust it. They're meant for just basic voltage reading, not the stuff we do. So its not gonna be quick on the response. So that's why i'd choose an aftermarket digital one instead. Amazon has them around 25ish. thanks ill probably buy one soon...they look good anyway haha

  3. I've been putting off buying a voltmeter due to the fact my car already has a stock one. I was just wondering, how accurate are the stock ones? Do i really need to buy an aftermarket one?
  4. Well I'm sure it would sound good, too many variables to be exact, build a good box i bet it'll get nice and loud. Mines currently in a trans am hatch, sealed box but it still pounds like a champ, no problems
  5. Just beat the hell outta them with a nice clean signal and youll be good to go. No problems with my Level 4s
  6. would the sound be balanced and not louder on one side? and since i have a hatch, would i have to seal it off some how? or face the subs that way? i hate all the variables haha
  7. this is probably a stupid question but would it be louder on one side than the other? lol
  8. thanks for the help man I really appreciate it, so your saying an L port like that would be better than one in the middle? And yeah I know about the tuning, I just wanna dig down a little bit so I can some lows haha
  9. Or should I do subs and port forward? I'm torn haha
  10. Subs up port forward or whichever you think will be louder, sorry, and also itd probably be safe to take off a couple inches on the height, I don't think the subs hitting the ceiling would be very good haha. Thanks

  12. also a slot port in the middle would be nice and the subs firing upward
  13. I have 2 DC Level 4 M2 12s powered by a DC 3.5k. I know im losing a ton of output by having them in a sealed box. If anyone can design a ported enclosure for me, it would be greatly appreciated this would be my first enclosure build so im a big noob when it comes to enclosure designs the max dimensions are 42' wide 24' deep and 24' tall, this will be going in a 97 trans am back seat preferably tuned to about 33hz thanks in advance
  14. so it wouldnt help if i added another ground for the back battery?
  15. Well 2lbs of poly fill later and I got a noticeable increase of output on all frequencies. Just kinda worried about the poly fill getting in with the voice coils and catching fire Thanks for all the input guys
  16. Just bought 2lbs of poly fil from walmart...time to see how it works out...seems like a lot to stuff in my box though with the subs, like no open air
  17. Do you guys think the subs motor and magnet size would come into play? I'm working with 2 dc level 4 m2 12s and they're only getting 1.1 cubes each(poor lil fellas I know) They seem rather large in that box haha
  18. That's what she said hahaha Thanks guys, ill report back later tonight
  19. Yeah I guess ill try it when I get off work then. You think I should glue it to the walls? Or just leave it as it?
  20. Hmmm great stuff guys, thanks for the input we'll do you guys think it would be worth the trouble? I'm really lacking on the low end
