Would 300rms be a huge difference to the ear? I'm interested in the nendo bc2k but after seeing the clamp test on the sympony 1500 being right around 1900, is it worth spending almost $200 extra for a 300rms difference?

Hey pal...short answer is no. Double the power for 3dB increase, 10x the power for 10dB Decibel is logarithmic function!
