2x.... I change from Kicker to Sundown. I had 2 Kicker ZX1500.1 on 2 15" L7. I change to 2 15" Nightshade and went up most 2db. Traded the 2 ZX1500 in for 1 Sundown 3k and went up 1 more db. I love Sundown products!!! I'm still running the same 3k 2 years later the subs where traded for 4 Sa-12. Dependable is the best thing about Sundown. Day end and day out they can take a beating like none of the brands I ever owned.

that much port area in not really need. Any where between 12-16 per cu.ft. is fine.

New season is starting on Oct 16. in Greenville NC. There are a few new thing going on In Street Beatz that should make for a great year. First thing is the prize money for finals Starting this season we will be offering Prize money for every class at finals. Throughout the season every entry from every event will add on to the prize money at the end of the season along with every membership. Below is the breakdown of how the money will add up. 1x events- $5 of every entry 2x events- $8 of every entry 3x events- $10 of every entry $10 of every membership $25 of every retailer membership Any donations or product raffles will completely be added to the prize pot To qualify competitors will have to meet all of the requirements listed below to qualify to win the prize money - Become a StreetSPL member - Compete at a minimum of (4) 1x events - Compete at aleast (1) 2x or 3x event - Win their class at StreetSPL Finals We will be offering both trophies and the breakdown of the prize pot for every 1st place winner at finals and if someone who wins their class DOES NOT qualify for the prize money they will still receive $25 plus the 1st place trophy and the prize money not claimed from certain classes will be added to the rest of the classes. 2nd place will win $25 of the finals entry fee back plus a trophy 3rd place will win $15 of the finals entry fee back plus a trophy 4th place and lower will receive $10 of the finals entry fee back There are also new classes NO WALL 1-2500 2501-5000 5001-up (allows 16 volt) Sealed trunk might be gone since we have only had a few competitors all season WALLED 1-2500 2501-5000 5001-10000 10000-up (allows 16 volt) Stealth Limited to 1200 watts Trunk/Hatchback 1-600 601-1200 1201-2200 2201-3500 3501-up Truck/SUV 1-600 601-1200 1201-2200 2201-3500 3501-5000 5001-up So like to see some SMD people come out. Let getting this season started right!!! So who can come?

Shouldn't change the way it sounds at all. It will be the same displacement no matter where you mount the speaker.

I build this box for a DD 3510 on a American bass 175.1 About 1500 rms and it sound great and does about 142.??? out the trunk of a Mustang. Free box design

Hey guys i'm playing with kerf port design. But i'm clueless on how big the kerf needs be, compared to the size of the port. The port i'm using is 2.5 x 37.5. Should the kerf be the the same size as the port width or half the port width? Here is the design so everyone can see how i'm tring to get the kerf.
