  1. So this would be good for transmission tunnels and under hood?

I great stuffed in between the brace and roof to fix that when I had my 10's.

  3. You are added. Survival for a week or so. I will switch you to creative after a while. Just something i am doing to help weed out griefers.
  4. I will add you guys tonight. I'm at work right now. Might be after 10pm central
  5. YUP!in for the impedance pewp ..... Stoked... This is DC voltage. You mean resistance. And for the record I would use ofc if I could redo things NO,.. Im in for the other issues he said he'd address? What are you talking about? you said impedance, thats ac. unless i missed a joke edit spelling

  7. If the 400hp motor was 1/3 the cost and we were talking about boats I would say get two and have 800hp for 2/3 the cost of having 500hp Edit. Realistically I guess its like half so buy two for the same price. But even with diminishing returns you would be ahead. Abstract analogies
  8. I guess it all depends on which tone of voice you choose to read each others comments. Try using bobcat golwaiths voice or sloth from Goonies.
  9. i'd say it does 55X2 @4ohms. certified if you do dynamic burst 90x2 @4ohms. edit
  10. I think you should scale this down instead of up. Let's not forget the thread about the a/b amp that was something like 50x4 and 500x1. Don't remember the exact numbers We learned that 4ga ofc was fine for that application because of duty cycles and because music is dynamic and the way amplifier power supplies switch instead of pulling continuously. So, if a situation like for instance a SA 1500.1 recommends a 150 amp fuse but has 1/0 inputs. One could argue you only need around 75 to 90 amps for music. If that is true then you could easily use 4ga of and save a lot of money. Anyone care to test it? Edit mobile sucks
  11. the whole cca/ofc debate will go on forever. The OFC guys will say all the terminals and fuses and holders negate the price the CCA guys could argue, just use toolmaker terminals and buss bars and that would negate that argument. Per amp, cca is cheaper at least knu brand is. So the more runs you do the more you would save. OFC saves lets you run less runs. In the end, all that really matters is you make sure you cover your amperage needs, and of course as we have seen from the OP, it is usually much less than what we think.
  12. is there a chance the 5k is an outlyer?
  13. I was thinking about that earlier today too. But this failed by almost 1/3 rated. While the 3.5 was a little over a hundred watts. I agree, big difference. But, still the dc does close to rated not rated. So at the risk of flames I am just saying if the shoe fits
  14. Didn't the DC 3.5 fail cert mode? Thought it did like 3379 st 14.35 volts? Edit 3379
  15. That looks nice. Nice job on the clean wiring too. Looks like you take pride on your work Edit spelling
  16. Yeah, is that a fourth or what. Hard to tell from the video.
  17. just in case you missed it. The game. That is all.

My bad, mobile page wasn't refreshed haha.

  18. Most of the time you can't just look at an amp and tell if its good or not. For instance look at sundowns amps. Just a black case with numbers and no fusing. Average joes would ha e no idea if its good or not. And then let's not forget that jBL gt500. Of course dollar for dollar this hifonics seems to do decent. But how reliable is it? Also there is the opinion that it doesn't do label claims. I'm not going to buy a hifonics a d I'm not defending it but show of hands here, how many of you own head units that claim 50x4 that do 12x4?. I guess what am saying is some people are happy with paying a bit less and like it has been said here a thousand times a couple hundred watts is not going to be noticeable.
  19. Please put your minecraft name when requesting a game mode change or something like that
  20. I have no idea, I may roll it back to a 1.6.1 server if it will work with 1.6.2 minecraft. Going to do some testing on that soon. I think the 1.6.2 release has some minor issues. Or it could be me.
  21. So i said i had something new so here it is. It's not anything super special, but its a dual cpu server. It only has single core 2.8ghz xenons in it now, but it has 6GB of ram and 4 250GB drives in a raid array. This is where the minecraft server will be eventually ran. I think it should run the server just fine, considering i am running the server local right now on a quad core 2.4ghz with 4gb of ram while running everything else, lol. Will be nice to push it over onto this machine and now have to worry about if what i am doing is effect server performance. It will probably be a few days before i get it up and running. I need to get a copy of Windows XP and get that installed first. Then i can migrate everything over. I will probably run a 0/1, using two drives striped, and then two sets mirrored. That way if we have a failure we don't lose everything. Any feedback or advice you guys have is appreciated. Thanks for playing!
