I would think holding the engine at above idle when parked would lower your temp. The water pump is spinning faster and circulating more water. The small amount of extra heat from the extra fuel is negligible. Since your car is a few years old i would look at your a/c condenser that sits in front of your radiator. Is it full of bugs and crap. Then look between it and the radiator, is it full of bugs and crap? Also, you may just check your water since it may be low or have some build up of rust or minerals from hard water. You could flush the cooling system then refill it and your reservoir. Since you have a/c i would assume you have a 4 core radiator. You could look into that though because if it is a two core or you replaced it with a cheap one you may want to just upgrade it. More water more cooling. One last thing Check the thermostat. You can pull it out and drop it in boiling water, if it opens and then closes after it cools it's good. A lot of this has already been stated i just wanted to confirm. Your a/c not blowing cool is normal when your engine gets overheated, it does that to lower engine heat. It will also disengage under full throttle or when going up steep heels in a high gear at like 3/4 throttle or so.

i thought it was smoke before fire? man i got cheated out of going first.

Yep, I had it backwards. Still, I would set at -5db if you are getting smoke. Or add a bass control knob. Kind of hard to hear clipping in bass.

isn't track 5 a 1k tone at -10db? i think it 1k 0db, 40hz 0db, 1k -5db, 40hz -5db, 1k -10db, 40hz -10db. so reset the gains with track 3, 40hz at -5db. sub amps use the 40hz tone with xovers and eq's off, mid and stuff use the 1k tones.

or, did you set gains with -10db and then play something with -1db bass?

fuses, fuse holders and ring terminal help

There are tons of retailers out there, sonix, amazon and others. Just double check the hole size in the ring to make sure it matches what you are hooking it to. -
fuses, fuse holders and ring terminal help
Jessica replied to drome20's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
They arent that bad, it's just easier to use the second style. The first ones have a lip at the base and it's kind of hard to tell if you got it soldered all the way. And yeah, i use a propane torch and a pair of vice grips since most the time i am by myself when i do this stuff. -
fuses, fuse holders and ring terminal help
Jessica replied to drome20's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
Sorry, about the messy first post. the forums were not letting me use the links i was using. I can tell you what not to buy, those ring terminals they sell at auto parts places that look like this they suck to solder, it's what i used cause i'm inpatient. You have to get the solder in from the wire side and it's a bish. As long as you use this style you should be ok, don't forget the heat shrink tubing! and ANL fuse holders are pretty you might want to "tin" the bare wire to get a better connection. tinning is just coating the wire in solder. -

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's something custom made for Steve since the lyrics say "Steve Meade bass make the crowd go woo" Probably something Chicken made for him. -

I've heard putting a small capistor in line with your power wire to say you e.q. or line driver can eliminate this. here is an article about it. http://www.caraudioh...bleshooting.htm I think it kind of works like a soft on/off circuit.
