ok just one more last time so if i have a 800 CCA batt in front i could put any CCA batt in the rear with out a isolator or do i need the same CCA as the front which i might just do.. -

yheaa because i want to get a d1400 under my hood (back seat in a cadillac) and a D3400 in the trunk can i do so even with the CCA be different?

do the CCA matter on the second batt?

ok im gonna get a second batt but do i need a isolator if i wire them parallel and if i wire them parallel do they have to be the same CCA?

Nope it could be a billion, doesn't matter lol really? so when i start the car it only start with the first one? Yes. Thats what a battery isolator does. Allows power into the battery (from the alt, thru the main, into the 2nd) but doesn't allow power to go from the 2nd to the main. ok this is were it gets messy when it come to batts because every one tells me i dont need a isolator is i wiring them parallel??

Missed that post. Gimmie just a sec hey thanks for the help i dont have my car with me to see (getiing painted) but i found some thing online about it... ok so if i have the second batt in the rear wouldn't the car start with both or just the first one? kinda confused on how that would work?

ok i found some thing that says 800 to 900 so i should get a 800 to 900 batt in the front and the rear like a D3100?

how do i know what i have my battery does not say any thing on it and i have not really been able to find any real good info on it because what would happen if i put like a D3100 in the front?
