  1. okay thanks, just looking at getting some 15's that rms at 1k a piece, and i never know if i am going to have D1, D2, or D4s.
  2. so there rated power of 2250 at 1 ohm isnt true?
  3. what rms will be i looking at before box rise from this at .5 ohms?
  4. rhino liner on the outside (sealed, and looks good)
  5. These were previously owned by jeff smith. Before I received these woofers, they were reconed, and upgraded to carbon fiber dust caps with zero play time after the recone. They are now broken in, never saw more than 600 rms daily at 14.0-14.3 volts. These subs are 9/10 cosmetically, and 10/10 mechanically. Got a bigger vehicle, so its time for some bigger subs. I realllly enjoyed these though, and Im sure anyone that has had them can vouch for them. I am asking $150 each shipped CONUS for now, but would prefer trades ( accepting nice amps in the 2k-3k range, or 12's-15's) thanks. EDIT: price change!, both subs will show up at your door for $280 PM me for more info or more pics, thanks.
  6. Sorry, also meant to post that they would either be the TNT version or the XFL version.
  7. hair trick worthy with 2 15's in a ford ranger xcab? I want something that hurts the chest. lol
  8. Agreed with bump4life, someone needs to get on doing multiple 8" numbers tests. <===im to cheap D=
  9. thanks for the input man, the XFL's were exactly what i was looking at in particular to AB. though you say 3k a piece is doable, could i get away with 1000 rms each like they are rated or would I need more to actually get something out of them, because if I end up getting them, I would need an amp that will suffice as well. Also, do you have any vids of your XFL's?
  10. try looking at the crescendo PWX's maybe?
  11. define "bump a little." like being heard from across the street, or down a block?
  12. check out the focal 6.5 midbasses on parts express. didn't look at the specs but they are $9 a peice and play very nicely. or also the T3 5 1/4's components.
  13. never scored my 1508's but made the rear window of my ford ranger flex wonderfully, and that was only on 600watts rms each from my power acoustic amp (yuck)
  14. youtube is the only carshow ive got xD i live in BFE pretty much.
  15. now that I am starting to run more of the american made brands, I want to experiment with all of them. So far I have played around with Fi, DD, and DC. I wanted to go to something a bit cheaper in price so my next line im looking at is American Bass and Obsidian, I was wondering if anybody has had good results with these cheaper priced lines (excluding the HD and VFL AB sub series since they are getting into the higher prices). Im driving a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT xcab, and havent taken dimensions yet, so not looking into specific sizes yet, just by brand and the results you have gotten. Thanks!
  16. if your going small box, ive seen that sundowns can get low. but my DD 1508s require about .75-1 cu ft each to get nasty.
  17. yeah, that is what i was starting to conclude. thanks man
  18. friend has a BRZ 2400 powering his DC M2 XL 15" and i ran it 3/4 gain for about 2 hours of straight bass smashing and it was just starting to get a lil hot to the touch.
  19. this isnt related to your question, im just curious about american bass and the XFL's in particular, what size are they and how do you feel about them/?
  20. thats what i was thinking, thanks guys!
